Emma Stone Gives Us A Lesson In Print Clashing

Emma Stone sure knows how to mix it up.

She stole our hearts on the Golden Globes’ red carpet by opting for a very different look in the form of an embellished Lanvin jumpsuit – and she looked absolutely heavenly.

Now, whilst attending the Oscars Nominee Luncheon, she’s gone for a mix that we did not expect. But, it’s equally as amazing.

Walking the carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, the 26 year old made a bold style statement.

Clashing two signature prints, Emma stuck to a completely monochrome theme. With an A-Line polka dot skirt that hung down to her knees, and a nautical, horizontal stripe jumper, the starlet was rocking an off duty look that was certainly red carpet worthy.

The all white (and black) e’erything was a striking contrast against her pale skin tone and bright red hair. If we didn’t know any better, we’d say she was the perfect English rose.

The Hollywood actress has been nominated for her role in Birdman. But for us, the attention was certainly on her sartorial choice.

If you want to be daring and work the print clash, it’s been made super simple this season by the trend of stripes and florals. We’ve selected some high street pieces, including these hot-to-trot trousers from Topshop, so you can shop the red carpet with ease.

Happy clashing.
