Ellie Goulding Scores Two Brits 2011 Nominations
Singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding shot to stardom after coming top of the BBC Sound Of 2010 list and winning the Critics’ Choice Award at last year’s Brit Awards – this year scooped up by Do It Like A Dude singer, Jessie J. Ellie melted hearts over the holiday period with her cover of Elton John’s Your Song, which featured in John Lewis’ 2010 Christmas advert, so it's no wonder that she has been nominated for not one, but two Brit Awards at this year's star studded event.
Ellie is up against the likes of Cheryl Cole, Paloma Faith and Tinie Tempah for both the Brits 2011 British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Artist. The singer, who’s currently dating Radio One DJ Greg James, maintains a fairly low profile and goes for quirky style choices for awards shows and the red carpet - we love it!
