Did Edible Christmas Jumpers Just Become A Thing?

And just like that, Christmas is well and truly upon us. When we’re not stuffing our faces with homemade mince pies, singing our hearts out to our fave carols or indulging in some of the best festive films, there’s one thing in particular that really gets us in the Christmas spirit – novelty jumpers.

Whether it’s a classic red Santa sweat, a tongue in cheek slogan number or a chic snowflake knit that tickles your fancy, we can always count on the high street to give us a whole shed load of options to choose from. Stealing the gold this year, though, is trusty high street maven Primark.

As well as playing host to more Crimbo jumpers than we can keep count of, the brains behind the store have launched an adorable personalisation campaign, showing exactly how you can update your jumpers while scoring yourself some serious style points in the process.

Yep, within a series of videos, the brand has created step-by-step guides demonstrating each and every move to make in order to produce some of the best Christmas jumpers we’ve ever laid eyes on. And to make things even easier, they have used only their very own products. Pearl collars, fringed shoulder pads, candy cane hems and a whole rainbow of ribbons are on offer, on top of every type of Christmas jumper possible to use as your base, of course.

DIY not your thing? You’ll be pleased to hear that the videos require only the most basic skills and equipment, meaning that being crowned Queen of Christmas Jumpers has never been within closer reach. And when you’re done, show your handiwork off with the hashtag #BringPrimarkHome. Warning: you won’t want to take yours off.
