Dior’s Amazing New Documentary Hits Tribeca Film Festival

A Dior documentary is the stuff fashion dreams are made of. A chance to unashamedly gaze at couture for over an hour? Yes, please. And so we could hardly contain our excitement when heard about Dior et Moi, a new documentary following the fashion house’s genius designer Raf Simons as he creates his very first couture collection for AW12/13.

The film was written and directed by Frédéric Tcheng, who clearly knows his stuff; he previously worked on documentaries about infamous fashion editor Diana Vreeland, as well as the 2008 documentary focused on Valentino.
We literally cannot wait to go behind the scenes at the house of Dior. We wonder if Jennifer Lawrence might make an appearance?

The film will be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival as part of the World Documentary competition on 17 April, so it looks like we’ll be holding out for the DVD release.

Something tells us it’ll be worth the wait.
