Dakota Johnson Rocks Retro Florals On Set Of New Film

Fifty Shades, who?

Dakota Johnson has jumped straight onto the set of her next movie, How To Be Single. The 25-year-old film star has a new on-screen companion, in the form of Pitch Perfect’s Rebel Wilson. What a combo, eh?

I mean, there’s so many reasons why we love Rebel Wilson. And Dakota won our hearts in the ‘Shades smash hit, and has fully cemented herself as our off-duty style crush.

Who needs Christian Grey, eh? Ok, maybe that’s a stretch too far…

Even without the Irish hottie, we couldn’t really be anymore excited about this female power team hitting our screens together. And the plot? According to IMDB (film lovers gotta love that site): “A woman writing a book about bachelorettes finds herself mixed up in an international affair while doing research abroad.”

We’re thinking The Hangover, mixed with a little Bachelorette for good measure.

As if that doesn’t sound perfect enough, Dakota’s wardrobe is shaping up to be a thing of beauty.

Her latest on-set ensemble sees her taking on an impressive retro makeover. Hello, flower power.

Nailing the vintage vibe, and yet still looking effortlessly cool, DJ wore a shirt dress emblazoned with brightly coloured blooms. She cinched it in at the waist, creating a retro A-line shape. Gotta love an A-line.

Her accessories were equally bright and bold. You certainly can’t miss those American-style sunglasses. Or those bright red block-heeled sandals.

The throwback didn’t stop there, either. Dakota’s newly chopped bob was swept back into a dramatic beehive, in a half-up-half-down ‘do.

We’ve also got a high street round-up of ’70s fashion, which includes many a floral print. Handy, huh?

But. We still have to admit it: we’re looking forward to Ana Steele’s return, too…
