Cressida Bonas has been on the rise to high fashion starlet for a while now and after landing one very chic spread in French high fashion magazine Jalouse, it seems like Cressie has officially completed her makeover. Once the media shy girlfriend of Prince Harry, Cressida now looks set to be this year’s breakout fashion starlet.
Landing a spread and cover of Jalouse is a style accolade that even Kate Moss would be proud of. Styled up with a seriously Sixties feel and wearing the likes of Carven, Valentino, Dior and Gucci, Cressie looks cooler than ever at the lens of legendary French photographer Piczo.
This isn’t our first glimpse of Ms Bonas as a high fashion darling though. As well as modelling for Mulberry earlier this year, the actress has also fronted Miss Vogue and sat FROWside for both Dior and Topshop this season. The fashion world appears to be completely taken by her, and we can see why.
The article in Jalouse helps explain why she’s been such a hit:
“She is 26 years old, with a dancer’s grace and a crazy magnetism for the camera, be it that of a photographer or a film director. But, what is striking with Bonas is her paradoxes: those of a young, shy aristocrat who braves the flashbulbs during her relationship with Prince Harry in the same way that today she braves the world by choosing an acting career on the demanding stage of the West End or in Hollywood.”

And it doesn’t stop there. As well as landing cover after cover and sitting FROWside at the world’s best shows, 2016 will see Cressida appear in a film with fellow fashion darling, Cara Delevingne, called Tulip Fever. While Cara may be moving away from fashion, it seems like Cressida is getting more and more comfortable with it all. Her total chic-over has been a smash success and we spell big things to come for this lady, both in the acting and high fashion worlds.
