Confirmed: Beyoncé Will Be Hitting The Grammys Stage

Oh, yes! Beyoncé is coming back to The Grammys.

And we can hardly wait.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Common talks about his collaboration with John Legend. The pair co-wrote the song Glory, which they performed for the film Selma, which won them a Golden Globe for ‘Best Original Song’ in January. They will be performing this award-winning hit at the show on Sunday.

BUT. The rapper also revealed that they would be introduced to the stage by an extra special guest; the award show veteran and global phenomenon that is Beyoncé Knowles.

Uh-huh.

We all remember her show-stopping – and rather raunchy – performance on The Grammys stage last year, alongside hubby Jay-Z. The pair did an unforgettable rendition of the hit Drunk In Love.

This year is set to be a complete contrast, as Bey will be opening with a well known gospel tune, Take My Hand, Precious Lord.

Common told the music magazine, “That’s a whole other level, to have her singing ‘Precious Lord.’ I’m excited.”

Another thing we cannot WAIT to lay our eyes on, is the soulful singer’s wardrobe. If gospel is the order of the day, we can expect something more demure than last year. Ahem.

All hail Queen Bey.
