Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova Go ’20s Glam

It looks like fellow supermodels and co-hosts Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova conferred on trends before hitting the yellow carpet at the premiere of The Face in New York last night. Both ladies went down the 1920’s route, working modern day flapper looks in very different ways.

Coco went for a dramatic, gothic take on the trend in a sheer and jet jewelled Emilio Pucci dress, completing the look with hair swept into a classic Marcel wave and vampy red lips. We bet the girls in The Great Gatsby never looked this fierce!

Karolina meanwhile worked an update on the iconic fringed flapper frock in an electric blue number that flashed her pins to perfection as she gave us a red carpet twirl. Simple two-strap stilettos and a metal belt brought the look bang up to date.

The first episode of The Face, also fronted by Naomi Campbell and Nigel Barker, aired in the US just two hours after the cast hit the red carpet last night, and follows the four judges on their search for the next big supermodel. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a British version with Mossy at the helm sometime soon! GG
