As Chiara Ferragni celebrates her 28th birthday, we take a close look at the mega blogger’s amazing success.
With over three million Instagram followers, her own shoe line and collaborations with some of the world’s best designers, Chiara Ferragni is certainly one of the most famous fashion bloggers in the world. And with her success mounting by the day, we have to ask, has she superseded all her competitors to become the most well known of them all?
Chiara is an Italian-born blogger who launched ‘The Blonde Salad‘ six years ago. The blog is a mix of her personal interests – fashion, photography, travel and lifestyle (a mixed salad if you will). It quickly became hugely succesful and just two years later she was named ‘Blogger Of The Moment’ by America’s Teen Vogue. From there, her success was only going to increase and her mantlepiece quickly filled with more and more awards.
Chiara wrote a book entitled, ‘The Blonde Salad’ in December 2013 which was an enormous success. Add to this her collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Chanel and Tommy Hilfiger to name but a few, the blogger also became the face of Guess.
As well as fronting fashion magazines galore (including being the very first blogger to land a Vogue cover) and appearing all over TV chatshows, her list of achievements now also includes her own incredible shoe line. The stunning collection features both heels and flats, with her latest collection adorned in lace, glitter and applique cartoon eyes.
