Yesterday, we showed you that Cheryl Fernandz-Versini had got her hair cut even shorter following a cheeky new Intagram reveal.
And now, the former X Factor judge has finally allowed us a proper look at her short (and very red) ‘do at the L’Oreal Paris event in London.
The 31-year-old stepped out to help decide the winner of L’Oreal’s make-up artist competition, The Brush Contest, where contestants applied via YouTube.
Looking gorgeous in a navy and black scuba-style dress with a turquoise collar and a matching pair of turquoise pumps, Cheryl showed off her flicky new short bob that now boasts a bright red hue.
‘It was a spontaneous moment’, her stylist Paul Percival told ITV’s This Morning last week. ‘We talked about just doing a trim, and then we were like ‘lets just do it’… so yeah, I’m super happy.’
‘It was something that we’d talked about for a while, she [Cheryl] had been mentioning going shorter for a little while and she’s the bravest woman in the world because it was in the changing room [at The Graham Norton Show].
‘We had an hour and we literally cut the whole lot off – fourteen inches – and totally changed her look.’
The Geordie beauty’s new look has an air of Girls Aloud about it, we reckon, and the graduated cut at the back sets it apart from the sea of showbiz bobs we’ve been seeing from Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba and Myleene Klass.
