The former Girls Aloud superstar was every inch the lady in red, as she opted for two dramatic scarlet gowns over the course of the two nights.
Making a real entrance on Saturday night, Cheryl strutted onto the red carpet runway accompanied by two hunks in tuxedos (we’re not at all jealous, Chezza).
She sparkled in head-to-toe sequins in a slinky latticed number, with her hair in glamorous curls.
Rita Ora also opted for a daring red dress to kick off the live finals, being carried on stage by equally hunky men, perched on a thrown. Way to outline the competition, Rita!
The Hot Right Now singer’s custom made Vera Wang dress dipped at the back to show off her tattoos, and perfectly hugged at her curves.
Both girls saw their act through to Sunday’s show, and Cheryl pulled out all the stops in a show-stopping feathered prom dress.
But here’s something you may not know.
Taking to Instagram to share the secret behind her floor-sweeper, the Geordie beauty gushed: ‘My dress for tonight’s @thexfactor final is by @nicholasoakwellcouture and was commissioned by the British government’s GREAT Britain campaign.’
According to the fashion house behind the dress, this showcase works to demonstrate the strength of our country’s fashion industry, and we certainly think Cheryl did it justice.

Rita went for a glammed up boho-style maxi frock, complete with a daring mesh corset cut-out, before seeing her act Louisa Johnson take the X Factor crown.
The winning mentor shared an emotional message for Louisa on Instagram, saying: ‘Congratulations Lou Lou ❤️❤️❤️ As a new Judge to walk out with the winner feels incredible thank you to everyone who voted and all of the finalists!’
We’re going to miss our weekly X Factor fix.
Roll on the 2016 series, right?
