Cheryl Cole Means Business In Her Jason Wu Collar Frock

Cheryl Cole brought the glamour by the shedload last night when she rocked up to the X Factor press launch at London’s Ham Yard Hotel looking seriously slick in this monochrome Jason Wu dress.

The former Girls Aloud singer looked like she meant business in her black sleeveless fitted pencil dress featuring a contrasting white collar (which is actually detachable – pretty nifty, no?).

The striking X Factor judge completed her look with pointed monochrome heels, a bright red mani and a vampy crimson lip, while she wore her newly lighttened hair back in a chic low ponytail.

Peter Pan collar dresses are still everywhere – see Victoria Beckham and Valentino for evidence – and make the perfect office-to-bar outfit. But while we can’t quite afford Jason Wu’s designer price tag like the new Mrs Fernandez-Versini, we can afford this chic lookalike from ASOS.

The midi hemline means its totally work-appropriate if you throw a slimline blazer over the top, while the discreet lace shoulder panels bring enough racy sex appeal for post-work drinks. Just shake off your jacket and go!

We’d team ours with a statement lip in hot pink or crimson red and a pair of sleek pointed courts for a slice of chic Cheryl style.
