After she hit the headlines yesterday for reportedly being paid £250,000 to perform at the De Grisogono party during the Cannes Film Festival 2010, we were on the edges of our seats waiting to see what Cheryl Cole would wear to the event. She may have taken a break from the red-carpet circuit recently, but last night the singer rivalled the Hollywood A-list attendees in a Roberto Cavalli tulle mermaid gown and De Grisogono jewels. A glowing Cheryl performed a 30-minute set to guests including Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton and Margerita Missoni before DJing with Will.i.am. With L’Oréal keen to get their latest poster girl back in Cannes this week to attend a premiere, it looks like Cheryl’s status is soaring. GG
