Cara Delevingne Returns To London For Pan Premiere

Cara Delevingne is the one girl we are used to seeing beating the streets during London Fashion Week, however, this weekend Cara wasn’t working runways or grabbing FROW hotspots – she was in fact in town to promote new movie Pan, which recieved it’s world premier in London’s Leicester Square this afternoon.

Wearing a textured black mini dress (complete with racy mesh inserts) and caged heels Cara instantly had the paps working in overdrive, especially when she treated them to a *cheeky* glimpse up her skirt as she leaned over security barriers to greet fans. Oh Cara.

Looking slick and stylish with a high ponytail and dark smoky eyes, the model-turned-actress seemed to be having all the fun as she entered the theatre, joking around with the paparazzi and organisers in that goofy ‘Cara D’ way we’ve all come to know and love.

Joing her on the carpet were Pan co-stars Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara, who looked equally beautiful in a layered black maxi dress, simple choker and block sandals.

A whole host of other stars also attended the premiere including Lily Allen, Suki Waterhouse and Georgia May Jagger.

New flick Pan released on October 8th is a fantasy action/adventure that tells the story of 12-year-old orphan Peter (Levi Miller), who is whisked away to the magical world of Neverland where he makes some unlikely friends. Based on the beloved characters created by J.M.Barrie, Pan sees Cara play a luminous mermaid – a role that befits her athletic figure and ethereal beauty.

This role is just another string to Cara’s acting bow following recent performances in films such as Paper Towns, and a much anticpated part in forthcoming comic movie Suicide Squad. So, while we feel a little sad that Ms Delevingne isn’t part of the LFW posse this year, we can’t help but congratulate her on her brave decision to leave the modelling world in order to persue her acting dream.

Go Cara D!
