Cara Delevingne has now added another new skill to her long list of ever-expanding fashionable talents – handbag design.
The 21-year-old model helped Italian fashion house Fendi to celebrate its brand new flagship store opening at London’s New Bond Street by customising her very own Peekaboo bag for the luxury brand.
Her super-personalised white leather comic book tote celebrates everyone’s favourite cartoon hero, Superwoman. With a huge red ‘S’ stamped on one side and the words ‘Super’ in blue and ‘Woman’ in green emblazoned onto the back and front, it’s fun, cheeky and very Cara.
Modelling her customised Fendi beauty at the launch party last night, Cara made sure to let her tote take the spotlight by keeping her outfit sleek and chic with black skinnies, a black logo crop top and a shiny cropped bomber.
Adele, Gwyneth Paltrow, Georgia-May Jagger, Naomie Harris, Tracey Emin, Jerry Hall, architect Zaha Hadid, fashion illustrator Tanya Ling and journalist Kate Adie are also amongst the fabulous famous ladies to have been given free reign on designing their own one-off Peekaboo bag.
The totes will be auctioned in aid of children’s charity Kids Company, with the online auction now open for bidding and closing on Friday 30 May at 6pm.
