Cara Delevingne Debuts New Chestnut Brown Locks

Cara Delevingne is officially no longer a blonde, people.

The British model has switched up her hair hue after years of being known for her flowing blonde locks, debuting her new darker shade at the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala.

Cara smouldered on the red carpet in a black one-shoulder floorlength frock featuring a sexy side split and a shimmering sequin train, with her new brown locks worn in a loose side braid.

Cara teamed her glossy chestnut hair with smokey brown eyeshadow, thick feline flicks and dark, defined brows, keeping her lip colour neutral to let her hair do the talking.

While Ms D’s new look is no doubt for her upcoming film role in Paper Towns, we’re kind of loving it.

The darker shade really makes her blue eyes pop, while it’s still got enough warmth so as not to wash her English rose skin out. Props to Cara’s colourist!

Cara’s model pal Suki Waterhouse also ditched her trademark honey locks for a mousey brown hue back in October – could this be a new model trend emerging?
