It was only last week that Catilyn Jenner signed for trademark rights to sell cosmetics under her name, and now the I Am Cait star has just announced her very first gig.
Wait for it… None other than MAC Cosmetics have launched a lipstick partnership with Ms Jenner.
Caitlyn took to Instagram to announce the news with a suitably glam snap and the caption: “I’m finally free to announce my partnership with @MACcosmetics! All sales of our lipstick shade, Finally Free, go toward improving transgender communities. Look for it in April!#MACCaitlynJenner.”
MAC, meanwhile, made it all the more official with an entire page dedicated to the collaboration on the site and the statement: “Today, MAC is proud to announce a partnership with Caitlyn Jenner that begins with the April 7 launch, exclusively on maccosmetics.com, of a limited-edition Lipstick created by Caitlyn.”
While Kylie’s Lip Kit sell-out is enough to leave us chomping at the bit to get our mits on these beauties (surely she’ll share tips and hints, no?!), there’s even more reason Caitlyn’s MAC line has shot straight to the top of our wishlist: all proceeds will go to the transgender community.
Cait added: “I realise that I’m in a position where I can help people who are really struggling by creating a platform and bringing exposure to the issue.”
And that we are certain her MAC collaboration will do.
So what can we expect from the line? Dubbed ‘Finally Free’, Caitlyn says the lipstick range represents the LGBTQ community, while it has also been inspired by her children.

“They always do their makeup well. They really understand how to dress, even if it’s everyday stuff. And to me that’s inspiring, because it’s a lot of work. And I realise everybody can’t do it. They have the resources. I always look at it as being a celebrity and being in the public eye: It’s a business.
“They’ve built incredible businesses for themselves on this side of the industry. They’ve been smart; they’re hardworking and they get it. Kim has been great at giving me advice, just by saying, ‘Ok, if you’re going to do this, you’ve got to rock it. You cannot go out the door unless you’re put together. I’ll do whatever I can to help you, but you’ve got to take it seriously because, if you get that one bad photo, they’re going to use it forever. So don’t give them that ammunition.’ And I’ve had that, boy have I had that.”
We CANNOT wait.
