Oh goodness, the Made In Chelsea news gets worse. Just a day after Andy Jordan announced that he’s leaving the show (*sobs*), we’re now worried another MIC star might be following suit. Say it isn’t so!
In a new interview with the Mirror Online, Jamie Laing has hinted that he sees his future less in reality TV, and more in presenting…
Speaking of his new job with Sky Sports, which will see him presenting The Ashes this year, he said: ‘I’m going to head down to Lords on the second day to take a look behind the scenes and check out my batting skills.
‘I’m so excited. I’d love to be a Sky Sports presenter if they’d have me. Presenting has always been a dream of mine. That’s the reason I signed up to Made In Chelsea – I hoped it would be a platform to give me that push into presenting.’
NOOO. We can’t take another of our favourite original MIC boys jumping ship. Will Jamie be leaving soon to pursue a new career in presenting? We just can’t take the heartbreak.
In a statement, Jamie’s co-star Andy said yesterday: ‘After four seasons on Made In Chelsea, I have decided it’s time to step away from the show.
‘It has been an amazing experience and I have learnt lots and made some great friends along the way.’
The 25-year-old has been gracing our screens since 2012, but despite being totally gutted that we’ll no longer be treated to scenes of the curly-haired heartthrob, we’re not exactly surprised by Andy’s decision.
He skipped last year’s New York MIC special and chose not to fly out to LA for the upcoming series.

We’re also not entirely shocked to hear that Andy will now be focusing on his music. He was often seen strumming away on his guitar on the programme.
He continued: ‘With my next EP in the pipeline and a number of fashion projects and collaborations, this is a natural progression for me, and although I am sad to be leaving I couldn’t be more excited for what is coming next.
‘Music and fashion are my real passions and I now have to focus on these projects full time.
‘I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my years on the show and I really look forward to the next chapter… watch this space!’
Even though this news is incredibly upsetting, the show must go on.
Andy’s ex-castmates are currently busy filming in California and stars including Louise Thompson (i.e. Andy’s ex) and Lucy Watson have been keeping their Instagram followers updated with their antics.
Yesterday, Lucy, 24, proved that her and on-off BFF Stephanie Pratt’s friendship is right back on track by posting a sweet snap of them together. She then shared a cute image of her new boyfriend James Dunmore.
She captioned the shot: ‘#sopretty.’
Ooh. It sounds like things are heating up.
