Amal Clooney is fast becoming known as one of the most stylish women in Hollywood. The human rights lawyer and wife of George Clooney has been landing on the best-dressed lists ever since she first shot to fame and recently, has been doing it in just one particular designer.
The only star to have worn John Galliano for Maison Margeila more than once, we started to wonder if Amal had a new fave brand.
After wearing the designer to her very first Met Ball and then last week to the premiere of Tomorrowland, her hubby’s new film, we wondered if she had picked out her new wardrobe go-to. However, it turns out that she is actually being styled by the designer’s long-term partner, Alexis Roche, reports Yahoo Style, which explains her new alignment to Galliano.
The stylist has been tweeting and instagramming snaps of the lawyer, stating that he had styled her red-carpet looks and also includes them as work on his online portfolio, suggesting he is very much involved in Amal’s recent red-carpet choices.
This contradicts earlier reports which suggested that Amal has never had a stylist. Mr Clooney said in an interview with E! News recently:
“She’s stunning and has a great sense of style – there’s no stylist or anything, she just comes out like that and she shows up and looks stunning!”
When the brand were reached out to for comment, this was Maison Margeila’s cryptic statement:
“The Maison wishes not to speak on this subject, just yet.”
What “just yet” could mean, we are not sure. Rumours are circulating that a Vogue cover is in the works, which is where this news will be addressed, but for now all we can say for sure is that Amal looks to be at least part-time styled by Mr Roche.
And what do we know about Alexis Roche? As well as being the long-term partner of one of the world’s most contraversial fashion designers, he is also the stylist to many of our favourite stars, including Kendall Jenner and Marion Cotillard.

Alexis was responsible for Kendall’s amazing Alaia gown and her Calvin Klein showstopper at Cannes so we can officially say that we were already huge fans of his work and if Amal’s most recent appearances are anything to go by, there are great things to come!
