Alexa Chung Works Masculine Tailoring At Mary Katrantzou
Alexa Chung was in the front row for one of the most anticipated shows of the season, Mary Katrantzou's AW12 collection. Alexa teamed a silk printed blouse with cropped navy pants and patent flat brogues – sans socks, of course – as she watched the show alongside Anna Wintour. Mary's famous digital prints, which have made her a firm favourite with the celebs, did not disappoint as the models sashayed down the catwalk in various blooms, ornamental-inspired prints, all mixed with bright azure blues, pinks and yellows. The exaggerated peplum details were still in force, as were silky pyjama style trousers and funnel neck coats with tulip hems, proving Mary knows a thing or two about shapes as well as prints.
