Alexa Chung Launches Her New Collection At New York Fashion Week 2010
As reported a few weeks back, Alexa Chung’s hotly anticipated collaboration with clothing label Madewell finally launched on Monday night during New York Fashion Week 2010. The collection's a mix of cute shorts, vintage blouses; mini dresses, stripes, velvet and plaid – all very Alexa Chung. Models took to the stage with very little make-up, tousled locks and boyfriend shoes - again, so Alexa!
Alexa Chung said: “Madewell's vision is kind of the same as mine. They like laid-back styles, they like kind of relaxed clothes – classic, timeless things. So when they asked to collaborate, it was a perfect fit.” The collection is available in the States from September. KD
