Air & Grace: The New Shoe Label You Need To Know

Here at LOOK, we’re always on the prowl for new fashion brands to love, and we have a particular soft spot for shoes. So, imagine our delight when we spotted Air & Grace during London Fashion Week. We were just minding our own business at the Teatum Jones show when our eyes were suddenly drawn to the models’ feet. They stormed down the runway in some seriously statement Chelsea boots by this new Brit label, featuring polka dot prints and cool fringing.

A home-grown success story, the design talent behind the label is Claire Burrows, who knows a thing or two about feet. She’s been in the shoe business for 20 years, working as a senior buyer at Kurt Geiger and Office and bagging a coveted role as MD of Aldo too. She’s even designed for bottom-lifting shoe brand, Fit Flop – talk about a jam-packed CV. In fact, the odds are you’ve got a  little something of Claire’s in your shoe-drobe already!

Air & Grace was born out of her quest to find the perfect pair of shoes nailing that winning combo of uber-gorge and super-comfy. And while we can see she’s definitely got the first bit right, we’ve heard getting some great feedback on the fit-factor too. True, the prices are at the investment end of the scale, but the timeless designs and luxury leathers make for a shoe-buy you’ll wear for seasons to come. If you want to try them for yourselves, you’ll have to wait a little while for the Teatum Jones catwalk designs to drop, but you can shop the mainline on the website right now.  Our fave is definitely the leopard print booties!
