Soz Stan Smith! Why Gazelles Are The New ‘It’ Kicks

If you’ve finally just got your hands on a pair of Adidas Stan Smith’s, you might want to look away now. For me however, news of Adidas re-working the iconic Gazelle trainers is music to my ears. I got my first pair of Gazelles when I was about 15. They were baby pink and I thought I was amazing.

Trust me, Gazelles were the thing to wear and I was the only person at school to have that colour. I felt very swish.  Fast forward 18 years and I now wear them in navy with a flash of gold at the back.

Yep, just like their new poster girl Kate Moss – the campaign features a picture of Mossy from 1993 wearing a burgundy pair – Gazelles stand the test of time. They go with skirts, dresses and jeans and they keep their shape.
