Zooey Deschanel braved the desert heat for an amazing performance during The Coachella Music and Arts Festival 2010 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. The She & Him singer wowed the crown in a waist-clinching grey dress, glossy hair and a tambourine as she belted out hits including I Was Made For You and Why Do You Let Me Star Here. Zooey joined Beyoncé and JayZ as the first day headliners at the star-studded Cochella festival and played to an A-list crowd including Katy Perry, Kristin Cavillari and Camilla Belle. SD

Coachella, California’s answer to Glastonbury - minus the mud - kicked off on Friday, and the weekend has seen some serious celebrity action.
