Alesha Dixon Does Sports Luxe
Just last week in LOOK we raved about Alesha Dixon’s Britain’s Got Talent wardrobe overhaul, and it looks like she’s been seriously swotting up on the SS12 fashion trends. The Britiain's Got Talent judge has already sported the shade of the season – saffron yellow – in an Acne maxi, nailed the under-the-sea theme in printed Peter Pilotto, and yesterday, she ticked off the sports luxe trend that stormed the catwalk everywhere from Alexander Wang to Isabel Marant and Victoria Beckham. Alesha wowed in a printed shift dress and white heels with flashes of neon, glossed up with a chunky chain choker. Killer outfit aside, Alesha gets top marks from us for smiling even though her feet must be about to fall off – that’s wardrobe dedication! GG

Fashion Trend Tremor: Silver Shoes
Calling all magpies – you can thank Marc Jacobs for this one. Ever since he showed shiny silver shoes on his Louis Vuitton SS12 carousel catwalk, we knew it was only a matter of time until they hit the high street fashion shelves. They look perfect offset against sping's sorbet shades but can even be edged up with wintery neutrals like black and navy. Let's face it, this weather doesn't exactly make you want to step out in macaroon coloured lace just yet! Be sure to go for a mirrored-style super-shiny silver (as opposed to a matte version) like these ones from high street fashion fave, Topshop, £65, and wear with conviction – they might be girlie but they demand attention! Topshop Platforms Add A Little Sunshine To Our Day!
It's cold, miserable and grey outside – hands up who's in need of a little pick-me-up? Never fear, high street fashion hero Topshop has come to the rescue and brought us a little splash of summer with these yellow suede platform heels. Yellow has been hailed as the designer ‘it’ colour for SS12 – wear with white, nude or navy or be brave and go head to toe in mellow yellow, as seen on the catwalk at Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera. Prada's New SS12 Movie Campaign: We're Addicted!
Prada have launched their SS12 movie campaign, and we just can’t stop watching it! Set in an American petrol station, the campaign features the ’50s-inspired looks that were seen on the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week. We love the ladylike pleated dresses, ice-cream shades and gorgeous studded handbags. And don’t even get us started on the super-sparkly jewels and flame-detail heels – now there’s an accessories cabinet we’d love to raid! We wonder if the car is for sale too – very Grease! Hollywood’s finest stepped out in style last night for the prestigious Screen Actor’s Guild Awards 2012, and with many celebs like Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone opting for subtly chic LBDs, it was a breath of fresh air to see Michelle Williams showcasing a gorgeous flame-red Valentino frock. With its peek-a-boo lace top, draped hem and waist cinching middle, this dress would have made Marliyn herself jealous! We just love how Michelle has gone for come chunky Forevermark gold bracelets and fierce caged Roger Vivier heels to give her look an added edge. Michelle, we salute you! ME
