Diane Kruger And Karolina Kurkova Do Skirts Over Dresses
Stepping out for a photocall for her new flick Les Adieux De La Reine at the Berlin Fim Festival 2012, Diane Kruger looks ever the pretty Hollywood actress in her statement printed 10 Crosby by Derek Lam dress.
Take a closer look and you'll notice that it has the effect of a skirt over the top of the dress - one of the latest catwalk and high street fashion trends storming celebsville, with Karolina Kurkova choosing the same look in her Alexander Wang dress earlier this week.
OK, sure it's a bit 'out there', but we're loving how unique it is and given that you can pretty much magic up the same vibe by layering any of the skirts in your wardrobe over one of your dresses, in our book that's a pretty fashion fabulous free outfit. And just in time for the weekend... LW

Stars Hit The Heart Truth Red Dress Fashion Show
New York Fashion Week kicked off in spectacular style last night when A-listers including Minka Kelly and Rose McGowan stormed the runway at the Heart Truth Red Dress show. While the catwalk heavyweights began to show their AW12 wares, Rose, Minka and co got things going early to celebrate The Heart Truth’s 10th anniversary.
The Heart Truth, which campaigns for women’s heart health, holds a fashion show during every NYFW with red dresses specially designed by fashion's biggest names, modelled by everyone from Heidi Klum to Hilary Duff. For the 10th anniversary show-stopper, Minka Kelly donned a sequin-covered Diane Von Furstenberg maxi wrap gown and Rose McGowan struck some serious poses in an embellished asymmetric dress. Music legend Chaka Khan and catwalk veteran Christie Brinkley also worked the runway. Let the fashion month fun commence! GG

Rachel McAdams has been out promoting her new film The Vow in which she stars alongside the rather gorgeous Channing Tatum – and we've got an exclusive video for you to check out. The Vow is an epic love story about a young woman who slips into a coma after a car accident and suffers from severe memory loss. She even forgets who her husband is, so he has to go about making her fall in love with him again. We've got to say we wouldn't mind Channing Tatum trying to win our hearts! Rachel was looking stunning at the LA premiere of the film in a pastel blue Vivienne Westwood dress and we've only got to wait a few more days as the film is out this Friday (10 February 2012)! MH

Alesha Dixon Does Sports Luxe
Just last week in LOOK we raved about Alesha Dixon’s Britain’s Got Talent wardrobe overhaul, and it looks like she’s been seriously swotting up on the SS12 fashion trends. The Britiain's Got Talent judge has already sported the shade of the season – saffron yellow – in an Acne maxi, nailed the under-the-sea theme in printed Peter Pilotto, and yesterday, she ticked off the sports luxe trend that stormed the catwalk everywhere from Alexander Wang to Isabel Marant and Victoria Beckham. Alesha wowed in a printed shift dress and white heels with flashes of neon, glossed up with a chunky chain choker. Killer outfit aside, Alesha gets top marks from us for smiling even though her feet must be about to fall off – that’s wardrobe dedication! GG

See Michelle Williams And Rooney Mara’s Pre-Oscars Style-Off
If Michelle Williams and Rooney Mara are feeling the wardrobe pressure as Oscar night looms, they're certainly not showing it. The actresses, alongside Meryl Streep and Glenn Close, are up for the Best Actress award at the biggest night of the awards season on 26 February 2012.
But before the red carpet full of show-stopping dresses, there's the 2012 Academy Awards Nominees lunch, which was held yesterday in LA. This calls for a day-friendly yet extra-stylish ensemble, and Michelle and Rooney didn’t disappoint. Fast becoming her new go-to label, Michelle stepped out in a Victoria Beckham dress with an embellished rain cloud print and a cute Peter Pan collar. In contrast, Rooney went down the androgynous route and threw us a fashion curveball by teaming a black Asos jumpsuit with a sharp-shouldered Thierry Mugler jacket. Talk about a high-street/high-fashion mix! With this being their last chance to impress with their wardrobe choices, it all rests on the big night now. Choose those dresses wisely, ladies!
