Taylor Swift Rocks Two Hot Frocks For Her Big Weekend
Country singer Taylor Swift had a lot to celebrate this weekend after clearing up the gongs at not one but two award ceremonies! First up was Nickelodeon’s 25th Annual Kid’s Choice awards, where Taylor’s contribution to children’s charities and aid relief was recognised as she was presented with the Big Help award by none other than the First Lady herself, Michelle Obama. Taylor wore a cute ivory prom dress by Maria Lucia Hohan while Michelle opted for laid-back jeans and a shimmering top. And if that wasn’t enough, Taylor rounded off her weekend in style at the 47th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards, picking up the gong for Entertainer Of The Year and rocking a cool white cut-out J Mendel maxi in the process! Red Carpet Round Up – Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards '12
With a guest list packed full of hot young Hollywood names, you can always count on the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for an eclectic parade of outfits, and Saturday’s bash gave us everything from Dolce & Gabbana to a slime covered crop top!
Kristen Stewart led the orange carpet glamour pack (yes, we did say Kristen Stewart) in a cobalt blue Stella McCartney lace mini and matching Barbara Bui platforms – which she later swapped for Converse to collect her Favourite Movie Actress award - and a vampy, no pun intended, high ponytail. Emma Stone went for simple but statement in an origami pleated Antonio Berardi skater dress accessorised with nude Alejandro Ingelmo and beau Andrew Garfield, finally confirming their romance in public.
Favourite TV Actress and Favourite Female Singer winner Selena Gomez went head-to-head with Favourite Voice From an Animated Movie winner Katy Perry in a battle of the abs, as both ladies opted for midriff baring skirt and crop top combos. Selena sparkled in a baroque Dolce & Gabbana jewelled two-piece, while Katy paid tribute to the awards’ tradition for sliming attendees in a green gunge covered bra top, printed Gerlan Jeans skirt and matching Prada peep toes. You’ve got to give the girl credit for getting in the spirit of things!
Other winners on the night included Adele for Favourite UK Female Artist, One Direction picked up Favourite UK Band, while Justin Beiber took home the Favourite Male Singer gong, making it a double celebration for Tinsletown’s cutest young couple. How To Get The Perfect Baftas-Style Bun
As awards season gets well underway, we thought we’d treat you to a little hair how-to of the most sought after look so far – the bun. With celebs sporting it at the Grammys, the Baftas and the Golden Globes, we've got an easy step by step from hairstylist Charles Worthington who created the amazing topknots at the Baftas. Enjoy!
Step 1: Start by applying Limited Edition Volume Big Bouncy Spray, £5.19, to dry hair, then blow-dry it in to give your style ultimate hold that'll last all evening.
Step 2: Curl the ends with tongs or a wand to give the hair movement. Then run your fingertips through the ends with a little Front Row High Definition Crackle Wax, £6.29.
Step 3: Pull all your hair into a loose ponytail at the crown and then twist it into a bun.
Step 4: Once it’s tight, tease out stray hairs to give the final look a really soft finish. Secure with hair pins and a spritz of Brilliant Shine Max Hold Hairspray, £5.19.

Adele - Queen Of The Grammys 2012!
The Grammy Awards may be one of the biggest awards' bashes in America, but 2012's ceremony was all about British music, as Adele wiped the floor with the competition to scoop a whopping six awards. The London songbird took home Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year to name just three, and blew away A-list attendees including Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sir Paul McCartney when she belted out a performance of Rolling In The Deep. No wonder the current Vogue cover star couldn't stop smiling as she accepted her awards in a stunning sheer polka dot dress.
Taylor Swift also did well on the awards front, taking home two gold gramophones. The country star excelled in the outfit stakes too, sweeping down the red carpet in an ultra embellished Zuhair Murad Couture dress. It seemed wow factor gowns were the order of the day as Jessie J and Katy Perry both went for sparkling fishtail floorsweepers. Jessie went slightly sci-fi in silver metallic Julien MacDonald, while Katy championed SS12 pastels in a powder blue Elie Saab creation. We're still not 100% sold on that blue rinse though!

Get The Look: Taylor Swift’s Bright Red Party Dress
As if opening our advent calendars today wasn’t exciting enough, Taylor Swift has got us feeling even more festive thanks to the holly-berry red dress by Porcelain that she wore to the CMT Artists Of The Year event in Nashville. From Elie Saab to Issa, red ruled the AW11 catwalks, and with its complexion-brightening qualities we’re not surprised – just look at Taylor’s glow.
If Miss Swift’s got you itching to ditch the LBD this Christmas, we’ve found just the ticket for working the scarlet siren look in Rare’s ruched bandeau. It’s a shape winner too – the gathered front will give small boobs a boost, the cinched middle whittles the waist and the skirt skims hips and thighs. So stash the Spanx and add a matching lip for a head-turning look like Taylor. The American Music Awards 2011: Fashion Round-Up
Taylor Swift was the big winner at the American Music Awards 2011 in LA, picking up three gongs including the prestigious Artist of the Year. The country singer looked fashion fabulous in a floor length nude strapless dress, whilst the ever daring Nicki Minaj looked relatively subdued in a green skirt and basque top (styled in her own special way of course). The wow factor of the evening has to go to Jennifer Lopez however, who looked half her age in a semi see-through cut away gown, definitely showing somebody what he's missing! Other winners included:

We Love Taylor Swift’s Dreamy J Mendel Dress
All hail Taylor Swift, the country music queen! The singer reigned supreme at the Country Music Awards 2011 in Nashville last night, both on the red carpet and in the awards stakes. After gliding onto the red carpet in a divine oyster J Mendel gown, knocking competition from Nicole Kidman and LeAnn Rimes out of the water, Taylor bagged the coveted Entertainer Of The Year award for the second time. Style-savvy Ms Swift knows a frock with that much wow factor needs minimal accessorising, and got it spot on with her delicate drop earrings and berry lip stain. It's top marks from us! GG

Beyoncé stepped out in this sequin-adorned Wildfox sweater last week, giving us a serious case of déjà vu, as Taylor Swift rocked the same 'Love Potion' number back in September last year. Comfortable but still glam, we can see why Beyoncé and Taylor both love Wildfox so much. We want one too! RS

Taylor Swift Joins The Celebrity Perfume Club
You’re not worth your celebrity salt these days if you haven’t got your own fragrance or four, and Taylor Swift is the latest A-lister to create her celebrity signature scent. The country singer launched Wonderstruck at Macy’s in New York yesterday, wearing a full skirted dress that was cute with a side of sexy thanks to the sheer fabric and nude slip underneath.
Taylor said she’s ‘obsessed’ with the fragrance, which comes in a pretty purple bottle embellished with charms, and that it’s not just for the girls – “I’ve had to talk some of my guy friends out of wearing it”. Though we reckon they might have to decant it into a more masculine container! Move over CK One, looks like there’s a hot new unisex scent in town. GG
