Wowsers - It's Taylor Momsen In Pink!
Thank heavens for that! Finally, it seems Miss Taylor Momsen has kicked her suspenders and head-to-toe black habit and is going for a softer look. The ex-Gossip Girl star is the new face of Samantha Thavasa handbags, and prettied herself up to promote the range in Japan this weekend. We loving Taylor’s sugar pink '60s shift so much that we’ll overlook the heavily khol-ed eyes and noir nails. And is it just us or does her hair look ever so slightly more honey hued and glossier? Gossip Girl Axes Taylor Momsen And Jessica Szohr
It looks like Gossip Girl just got cut-throat in real life. It’s no “xoxo” for Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr, who have been told they won’t be returning to the US show for the fifth season.
The two actresses, who play Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams in our fave New York fashion drama, won’t appear on the Upper East Side any more. Rumours are rife that Taylor Momsen was cut due to erratic behaviour on set and too much time spent with her band The Pretty Reckless.
So who did make the cut for season 5? Fear not, Serena and Blair fans! Our fave fashionista BFFs are back - Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will return along with the handsome chaps: Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley. We wonder if Blake Lively will keep her new red hair? JG

Madge’s daughter Lourdes blogged about looking for a new face earlier this month, and we've just found out Kelly bagged the campaign. But will this mean a return to Miss O’s old punky style? With Lourdes blogging about how “awesome” the collection is, Taylor Momsen signing up as poster girl, then being shot for the campaign by none other than the queen of pop herself, Madonna’s Material Girl line had been causing a stir way before it landed in Macy’s New York yesterday. Taylor performed as hundreds of teens flocked to the department store – some dressed up as Madonna - to get their hands on the grungy range of slashed leggings, crop tops, ra-ra skirts, studs, leather and tartan. With her reputation as Gossip Girl’s resident fashion rebel, peroxide blonde locks and penchant for fishnet tights, we couldn’t think of a better campaign girl to channel Madge’s iconic 80’s style. Taylor Momsen launched the latest Victoria’s Secret Beauty fragrance Love Rocks last night at the SoHo store in New York. The Gossip Girl star and Pretty Reckless singer’s signature grunge look made her a no-brainer for launching the perfume, described as being "Wild at heart. A punk princess. Rock chick meets tres chic." And after seeing Ms Momsen’s ivory maxi dress, rosary beads and black cuff combo topped off with some seriously smoky eyes, we’d say they’ve summed up Taylor’s style perfectly! - GG

Lady Gaga is taking a demure approach of late. Just a few days ago we reported that the eccentric singer had made a rare TV appearance without the face-covering masks and bizarre hats in favour of an accessible beauty look.
A few days later and Lady Gaga made yet another unrecognisable appearance at LA airport looking like a clone of Taylor Momsen in a green parka jacket and thigh-high boots teamed with plum lips and long blonde hair extensions.
