Love It! Versace For H&M’s Totally Tropical Launch Party
With the Versace catwalks always such a fabulously OTT glamour fest, we knew there was no way the label’s launch party for their upcoming H&M hook-up was going to be a subtle affair. To celebrate what is possibly the best high street/designer collaboration EVER, Donatalla Versace rounded up a whole host of A-list ladies and gentleman to party on a pier on New York’s Hudson River. After a catwalk preview of the killer collection, celebs including Blake Lively, Emma Roberts, Chloe Moretz and Selma Blair were treated to performances from a green haired Nicki Minaj and the one and only Prince!
Emma Roberts and Chloe Moretz both debuted designs from the range, Emma going for a print double whammy in the oriental floral bustier and matching trousers, and Chloe in the could-be-catwalk yellow embellished dress. Blake Lively worked a subtler look in a monochrome mini with just a smattering of signature Versace bling, while Nicki Minaj looked like she was vying for the role of Versace for H&M poster girl, posing with Donatella in a technicolour combo, popping platforms and flower adorned hair. Looking at this lot has got us on the edge of our seats for the UK launch on 17th November '11. Wonder what Donatella’s got planned for our side of the pond… we await our invites with baited breath Ms Versace. GG

Selma Blair Smoulders In Venice (Six Weeks After Giving Birth!)
Selma Blair gave birth to her baby Arthur just six weeks ago, but she came back with a bang as she promoted her new film Dark Horse at Venice Film Festival 2011. Stepping out in not one, but two colour-pop outfits (in the same day FYI), Selma showed off her trim post-baby figure in a curve-hugging green dress by Roland Mouret.
Selma pulled out all the stops for the premiere later that day, where she swapped her green dress for a stunning red floor sweeping gown by Lanvin – it reminds us of the Giambattista Valli gown Sarah Jessica Parker wore to the I Don’t Know How She Does It premiere just days before. These girls sure know how to coordinate their outfits with the red carpet – welcome back, Selma! H

Hot Mammas! Kate Hudson And Selma Blair Show Off Their Baby Bumps
Kate Hudson and Selma Blair both stepped out yesterday with their baby bumps proudly on show, both looking pregnancy picture-perfect. In sunny LA, Selma sported a low-key look in a ’70s boho maxi dress accessorised with nude gladiator sandals. Kate, on the other hand, kept her heels on in New York and went for a cute retro polka-dot sundress. Glowing, shiny and happy – if these ladies could bottle their look, they’d make a fortune! PS

The paparazzi witnessed an eye-popping treat at last night's Middle Men movie premiere in LA. Stephanie Pratt and Selma Blair stormed the red runway in vampy little black frocks with sexy peek-a-boo sheer details. Off out with the girls this weekend? Avoid any wardrobe flaps and dig out your LBD's for a classic dance floor option, just treat it to a speedy makeover with statement accessories. Zac Posen Launches His Target Line
Fashion’s finest were out in force last night for the launch of Zac Posen’s eagerly anticipated collection for Target. The store, a sort of US Matalan, is not new to designer collaborations, having had Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Sui and Proenza Schouler all design sell-out lines.
Posen fans working the red carpet included Selma Blair, Claire Danes, Maggie Gyllenhal, Olivia Palermo, and of course Coco Rocha. Well, the designer is currently working on her wedding dress. If Zac’s catwalk creations are anything to go by, this is set to be the store’s hottest hook-up yet. Just one question Target, when are you opening across the pond?! - GG

Gap’s Celeb Shop-athon!
The new Gap 1969 Jeans store in Beverley Hills saw some serious A-list action in the fitting rooms this week as celebs including Eva Longoria Parker, Selma Blair, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kate Beckinsale stopped by to stock up on the new collection. It’s nice to know it’s not all couture clothes and ‘It’ bags in Hollywood! And thanks Eva – we’ll be hunting down that blush pink waterfall knit on tomorrow’s shopping trip! GG
