Poppy Delevigne Shows That Yellow & Black Can Bee Great!
Kudos to Brit model Poppy Delevigne, who last night pulled off that oh-so-tricky colour combo – yellow and black. Looking as glossy as ever, Ms Delevigne toughened up a sunshine yellow shift with black accessories at a Cartier watch launch in London.
It’s a colour pairing we’ve often steered clear of for fear of comparisons with a certain flying insect, but after seeing this style masterpiece, we’re looking at black and yellow in a whole new light. Heidi Klum And Kristen Bell Do Tomboy Tailoring
Attending UNICEF's Playlist With The A-List event in Los Angeles, starlets Heidi Klum and Kristen Bell rocked up in off-beat red carpet choices. We totally rate these two for snubbing frocks for a little dose of tomboy tailoring, both in their sharp trousers and sassy suit jackets.
Kristen's spotty bottoms are actually Topshop, and have become a bit of a cult buy with Poppy Delevigne also spotted in the same trousers recently. Heidi's clean, white man jacket is a classic - smart yet chic, it adds grown up, ladylike flair to her saucy leather pins.

Alexa Chung Hits Chanel’s Las Vegas Fashion Bash
Oh what we’d give to bag an invitation to a Chanel soiree. For their latest celebration – the launch of the Numeros Prives exhibition in Las Vegas – the fashion house flew out the style set by private jet for a weekend of fashion fun. The opening night party was awash with Chanel favourites including Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger, Lily Collins and Jessica Alba. All were dressed in head-to-toe Chanel and adorned with Chanel fine jewellery, but each lady went for very different looks.
Alexa Chung, who took to the decks to entertain the crowd, swapped tomboy for cutesy in a pastel blue boucle mini dress and a crystal clutch, while Jessica Alba. opted for classic Chanel monochrome chic in a two tone midi dress. Daring fashionista Diane Kruger went futuristic in a high-necked sequin dress, and Lily Collins took Chanel into boho territory with a floaty maxi dress, loose waves and piled on chains.
With Karl Lagerfeld back in Paris working on Tuesday’s couture show, it was up to the Chanel ambassadors to party for him, and Poppy Delevigne, Rachel Zoe, Caroline Seiber and Leigh Lezark danced the night away to Alexa’s tunes and a set from Imelda May. We’d love to see what the fashion pack look like with a Las Vegas hangover! GG

The Celebs Dress Up For Dinner With Chanel
While most of us made do with a microwave meal in front of the telly last night, the A-list donned their glad rags to dine in style with designer fashion brand Chanel. Kate Bosworth, Cat Deeley, Hailee Steinfeld and Chanel ambassador Poppy Delevingne joined fellow celebs Christina Hendricks, Lily Collins and Elle Fanning at the LA event.
Kate Bosworth worked the ultimate Chanel combo of a chain-trim blouse and boucle skirt, while Poppy showed off another signature look in a tweed mini dress – both accessorised with classic quilted Chanel arm candy, natch. Teen starlet Hailee Steinfeld gave the veteran stylistas a run for their money with her offbeat dress and toe cap boots, and ever-glam Cat Deeley shimmered in a lurex boho dress and matching metallic heels with a perfectly tousled golden hairstyle. Well, you’ve got to make an effort for Chanel, haven’t you? GG

See Burberry’s London Fashion Week Celeb Bonanza
Burberry, London Fashion Week’s golden ticket, wowed the fashion crowd with another extravaganza of a show yesterday. Over1,500 stylish folk piled into the Hyde Park venue, and with so many A-listers in attendance, we can’t pretend we weren’t just a little bit distracted from the clothes hitting the catwalk. After Ellie Goulding, Kanye West, Sienna Miller, Gemma Arterton, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, Mario Testino and Andy Murray, we started to lose count of how many famous faces we recognised front row, but turn your head the other way and sure enough there were more!
Paul Weller was sandwiched between Poppy Delevingne and Laura Bailey, and Rachel Zoe scanned the runway from behind her signature sunnies. With Anna Wintour and Samantha Cameron in attendance, the outfit stakes were high, but it was Rosie H-W and super-stylist Caroline Seiber whose looks we loved.
Burberry girl Rosie brightened up the front row in a double leather look, rocking a red trench over skinny leather trousers, while Caroline Seiber was all effortless Parisian chic in a tweed trouser suit and the most desirable arm candy of the moment – Chanel’s ‘Boy’ bag. As if that lot wasn’t enough to cement Burberry’s status as London’s hottest show on the schedule, Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey produced the first ever ‘Tweetwalk’ as the Burberry show premiered live on Twitter, and users got to see backstage twit pics of every look before they hit the catwalk! If you fell for the jewel shades, graphic patterns, and cute pom pom caps, and are lucky enough to have a Burberry budget, you can shop the whole collection for one week only. GG

Celebrities Go Ladylike At The Cartier Polo
The ladylike trend isn’t going anywhere, ladies – especially when you’re a guest at the Cartier International Polo! LOOK Show model Petra Nemcova looked garden-party perfect in a floaty citrus dress (anyone else craving lemon meringue pie?) while cool girl around town Poppy Delevingne looked super-chic in an ivory silk mini dress – a bit longer and it’d be worthy of a royal wedding! Well, Poppy has just been named as the face of Alberta Ferretti’s new bridal collection! Also having fun inside the Chinawhite at the Cartier International Polo party, was Amber Le Bon in a floral maxi dress, as well as fashion designers Ben de Lisi and Henry Holland. Poppy Delevigne Looks Amazing At Dior’s Couture Show
Poppy Delevigne looked classic in a monochrome polka-dot maxi as she attended the Dior Haute Couture AW11 show in Paris, which took place in the gardens of the Musee Rodin. There was a modest celeb turnout, and for the first time in 15 years there was no John Galliano present at the show. The collection showcased candy colours, tulle layered ballgowns and Liquorice Allsort-style hats. Galliano’s assistant of 23 years, Bill Gaytten, took the bow at the end of the show – a potential candidate as Galliano’s successor, perhaps? RS

Sienna Miller and Poppy Delevigne work matching high-neck lace at the Ralph Lauren Wimbledon party. We love the Victorian styling, and how the girls have both worked the pretty white lace with black to toughen it up. For Poppy it’s black leather leggings (not an item seen in the Victorian ages!), while Sienna teams her Ralph Lauren dress with black ankle boots. White for Wimbledon, well it’d be rude not to! RS

Lagerfeld’s Girls Come Out To Play At The Chanel Cruise Show
Could we envy Karl Lagerfeld’s super-stylish posse of Chanel ambassadors any more? Not only do they have the man himself on speed dial, more Chanel clothes and accessories than you can shake a stick at, but they also get invited to the most amazing fashion shows ever.
Karl’s latest extravaganza? Showing off the Chanel Cruise Collection on the eve of the Cannes Film Festival 2011, on a sun soaked outdoor catwalk. While the collection was, as ever, drool worthy, we couldn’t take our eyes off the showcase of Chanel on the front row. Current Chanel poster gal Blake Lively sizzled in a seriously thigh-skimming mini and sequined jacket from the Spring 2008 Couture collection, cosying up to Clemence Poesy who’s lemon yellow boucle and feather creation looked good enough to eat. Laura Bailey, Alexa Chung and Poppy Delevigne provided a triple whammy of Chanel perfection, Alexa and Laura going pretty in pastel pink, and Poppy flaunting her phenomenal pins in a boucle hot pant suit. Get The Look: Naomie Harris’s Pretty Floral Dress
Celebs including Jade Jagger, Emila Fox, Naomie Harris, Konnie Huq and Poppy Delevingne turned out last night for the launch party and debut fashion show of Vanessa G. And this mysterious ‘Ms G’ (Vanessa Gounden) – a businesswoman turned designer – certainly put on a show at the swish Banqueting House in Whitehall. With a cocktail party, DJs, a live band on the runway and a stage set that looked like something from a West End show, everyone almost forgot they were there to see the clothes. However one dress we couldn't take our eyes off was the Erdem dress that was spotted on Pirates Of The Caribbean actress Naomie Harris. We're not the only ones who loved it, as Naomie wore it to two red-carpet events in one night after dashing from the Prince’s Trust Awards 2011 in the afternoon – and why not make double use of it when you look that good in it!
