It seems that when it comes to off-duty dressing, Pippa Middleton has found a fashion formula that works every time. Twice this week, Pippa has been spotted in what seems to be her dress-down uniform of choice – obligatory oversized shades (well, she is a celeb now), zip-up ankle boots, a slouchy suede bag and a blazer. How this girl survives without a thick coat in this weather is beyond us but, hey, her Royal Hotness isn’t just anyone. KA

Pippa Middleton returned to the fashion spotlight today in yet another perfectly put together casual outfit and sporting one of the hottest celebrity fashion trends of the season – a faux-fur gilet.

Kate Middleton’s younger sister impressed with her second off-duty look of the week and gave us even more style inspiration for the weekend as she hit the streets in a brown gilet teamed with her favourite designer handbag by Loewe, a matching burgundy jumper and flat black boots. Now that’s what we call perfect colour coordination. Watch and learn, ladies!

Pippa Middleton and Caroline Flack have both been out in London today finishing the last of their Christmas shopping. Now it might be miserable outside, but the girls were both looking gorgeous in their belted macs. We'd love to take a peek at Pippa Middleton's coat wardrobe – we're sure she wraps up in a different one every day!

And they've got us thinking that we'd better go and treat ourselves to a new belted mac ourselves! Well, if they're good enough for Pippa and Caroline, they are certainly good enough for us! MH

Looks like Pippa Middleton has left the full-on glamour to big sister Kate Middleton this week as she’s ditched the floor-length designer gowns for casual attire out and about in London. Looking casually cool wearing a short green jacket with a checked shirt and undone tan ankle boots, Pippa Middleton looked a far cry from Kate Middleton’s super-glam Alexander McQueen dress that she wore to the Military Awards 2011 with Prince William last night (see the pics, here). We hope Pippa Middleton glams up in time for Christmas Day with the Royals at Sandringham – somehow, we’re not too sure if the Queen would approve of those undone boots. Pippa Middleton must have more coats stashed in her wardrobe than her sister Kate Middleton has nude courts! Last week, Pippa Middleton had us lusting over her Dom & Ruby cosy white coat and today we’ve all been admiring her royal blue double-breasted number.
