Hairstyle How-To Video: Volume Tricks
Good morning ladies, welcome to another Friday Night Hair video. Today, we’ve got our Deputy Beauty Editor, Katie Chan, showing you the easiest volume tricks to transform your everyday ’do from flat to fab! Each one will only take a few minutes, and should instantly give your roots a volume kick. For the first look, you’ll need to bag yourself some mini crimpers – we used Babyliss Root Boost Micro Crimper, £30.49. For the second you’ll need some hairspray – try L'Oréal Paris Studio Line Silk And Gloss Volume Hairspray, £3.56. For the third, get your hands on Batiste Dry Shampoo, £2.99, and finally for the fourth you’ll need a bristle brush – we used Mason & Pearson Pocket Bristle Brush, £35. Cameron Diaz and Bar Refaeli Wow At The Dior Couture Show
Paris couture week is in full swing and the A-list are out in full force. As well as Giambattista Valli and Versace’s return to the couture world after an eight-year hiatus, hot ticket Dior also showed, with Bar Refaeli, Cameron Diaz, Olivia Palermo and Anna Wintour watching on.
Both wearing Dior designs, Cameron opted for a kitsch ’50s look in a polka-dot prom frock and pouffy quiff, while Bar oozed sex appeal in a figure-hugging cream mini and coordinating strappy heels. On the runway, however, it was a mix of old Hollywood gowns and elbow-length gloves, cocktail hour frocks and pencil skirts teamed with peplum blouses. Wonder if we’ll see that tulle ballgown swooshing down the red carpet on Oscar night? GG

Celebrity Street Style: The Best Dressed Of 2012 So Far
Kate Moss and Olivia Palermo have been hits in the celebrity street style stakes this week - proving that they're stunning even in their off duty wardrobes.
Kate Moss picked a fur coat and tailored grey trousers for her unusually quiet 38th birthday celebrations with husband Jamie Hince. The model and designer for high street fashion brand Topshop paired her effortlessly cool outfit with silver jewellery for a meal at Umu in London.
Elsewhere, the gorgeous Olivia Palermo attended the Ermenegildo Zegna autumn/winter 2012 menswear fashion show at Milan Fashion Week in a similar toned down outfit. She glammed up her fur-trimmed cardigan and cropped trousers with a pair of leopard print shoes.

Today’s Hot Look: Olivia Palermo
We’ve yet to set eyes on an Olivia Palermo fashion look that doesn’t have us drooling, and we've fallen head over heels with this latest ensemble. Out and about in New York, the celebrity style maven looked the picture of effortless chic, and it’s all down to a few clever key styling tricks.
While our leather jackets have been temporarily relegated due to the cold weather, Olivia gives hers a new lease of life by layering a furry gilet on top – try sheepskin. She’s pepped up the boyish jumper with a signature statement necklace, and ticked off texture clashing with her skinny leather trews. Finally, instead of the standard black ankle boot, she’s brightened up the whole look with a rich red pair. Hmm, perhaps Palermo cool isn’t so out of reach after all? GG

The fashion pack were out in full force last night for The British Fashion Awards 2011, and while we spent the whole morning lusting after their red carpet dresses, it’s the hairstyles we’ve got our eyes on now. Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo went for sleek updos and Kate Moss worked her trademark tousled bedhead hairstyle, but it's Kelly Brook and Tali Lennox’s flowing locks that we're loving over at LOOK HQ. Kelly went for Grecian glamour in a one shoulder dress with lots of loose waves, while Tali went all out with a ‘60s-style beehive and tons of volume! We want their hairdressers’ details, pronto! CS

Get The Look: Olivia Palermo’s Gorgeous Berry Jeans
Whether Olivia Palermo's working high-octane glamour on the red carpet or New York girl-about-town gloss, we’ve got permanent outfit envy. Yesterday, the style icon looked gorgeously autumnal at afternoon tea with Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey, teaming an oversized beige knit with the must-have jeans of the season, burgundy skinnies. Way glammer than standard blue denim (and more flattering on your legs than summer’s colour-pop brights), a pair of dark red jeans are a rock-around- the-clock, no-brainer buy. The celeb trouser of choice? It has to be the leather skinny. Forget saving them for night, these bad boys are even being worn for the school run, yes you Elle Macpherson! Whether it’s classic black, a la Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Moss, or rouge hues, like Elle Macpherson’s deep red Isabel Marant leathers and Olivia Palermo’s raspberry pair, there is no denying they look hot. Keep the look casual by pairing with low-cut courts or peep-toe ankle boots, or even pair with a ballet flat if you’re going to be on your feet all day. Keep the top half simple by dressing them down with knitwear like Elle and Olivia, or pair with a simple tee and blazer like Kate.
