We spotted Ashley Tisdale out and about in LA wearing this chunky winter warmer and while Nicola went girlie in her skater-style dress, Ms Tisdale toughened up the look with an oversized jumper style paired with biker boots and a drool-worthy Celine bag. Two very stylish celebs rocking the same look in two days? There’s no escaping this one ladies! GG

At fashion monthly InStyle's 10th Anniversary party in London, the popstars both reached for that old wardrobe failsafe, the little black dress. There’s a reason black is a fashion pack staple come Fashion Month – it’s the ultimate throw on and go colour and never fails to look effortlessly chic and don’t these ladies know it. Even against a black carpet Diana and Nicola’s slinky black dresses made a statement, Nicola Roberts in a ruffle-fronted bandeau dress amped up with a must-have gold choker and Diana Vickers in a dramatic, figure hugging maxi dress. Cheryl Cole may have slipped off the style radar for a little while, but this week she came back with a bang, first at the Pride of Britain Awards 2011 and last night taking a trip to the theatre to watch Kimberley Walsh’s Shrek The Musical debut.

Cheryl caused a paparazzi frenzy en route to the theatre, but once inside cosied up to Kimberley and fellow Girl Aloud Nicola Roberts, who was celebrating her 26th birthday. While Cheryl went all-out glam with an on-the-money peplum and ruff detail Moschino dress and matching heels, Nicola worked her usual fashion-forward style in a high-waisted tweed skirt and chain-trimmed leather jacket. It must have been a good night as Chezza couldn’t stop tweeting her excitement, first posting a picture of her and Kimberley in costume saying ‘Me and my Princess Fiona’ before later tweeting ‘Kimberley absolutely killed it…what a great show!!’ We bet the trio had a great night on the tiles celebrating later on – what we’d give to party with those girls! Nicola Roberts, Girls Aloud’s reigning fashionista, never fails to impress us with her kooky wardrobe choices, cool styling tricks and love of offbeat designers. While we’re still struggling to get our heads – and our wardrobe choices – around the unusually warm weather (we’d started to pack our summer clothes away, eek!) Nicola nailed not one, but two killer looks yesterday.

The popstrel went casual with a side of cool at a Mastercard photo call in the afternoon, amping up a simple body-con mini with a statement jacket, mega jewellery and her favourite purple suede Louboutins, before slipping into a straight-off-the-catwalk slinky Topshop Unique SS12 maxi  for the BT Digital Music Awards 2011 later that night. Check out her matching black and white print mani – this girl knows it’s all in the details. And talk about a flattering frock - the clever waist panelling shrinks her mini middle even more, while the slightly fishtail hem stretches her petite figure to almost model-like proportions, making her last night’s best dressed, hands down. Talk about a celeb stampede – the Topshop Unique spring/summer 2012 high street fashion show was like a who’s who of the red carpet! We spied Nicola Roberts, Pixie Geldof, Bip Ling, Anna Wintour, (with her very own bodyguard, FYI), Olivia Palermo, Eliza Doolittle, and (drum roll please)… catwalk royalty Naomi Campbell at the London Fashion Week show on Sunday. We also spotted Kelis, who was fresh from the front row at our very own LOOK Show at Westfield Stratford City on Saturday, and we even had time for a natter and a glass of champers with Lorraine Kelly! Absent from the show was Kate Moss, who recently announced she is to be the new face of fashion store Mango – Mossy sure does love high street fashion! Wonder which of the celeb guests will be first to rock the gold leaf hair, baseball caps and the chunky breastplates as seen at the Topshop Unique fashion show come spring? Watch this space! HE
