Blake Lively And Chloë Moretz Turn Out For Target

Blake Lively and Chloe Moretz in monochrome at the Jason Wu for Target launch

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – exactly when is Target going to open on our side of the pond? The US bargain store launched yet another designer collaboration yesterday, this time with catwalk whiz-kid and Michelle Obama dresser Jason Wu. As always the celebrities couldn’t keep away, with Blake Lively, Chloë Moretz, Emmy Rossum and Jaime King amongst the attendees.

Hick co-stars Blake Lively, and Chloë Moretz co-ordinated their wardrobes in matching monochrome looks – Blake in a flirty peplum dress and Chloe in a boy-meets-girl tuxedo ensemble. Jaime King brightened up the night with a bold red top double up and kitsch floral ski skirt, and Emmy Rossum ticked off the pastel trend early in a pretty pink blouse.  With catwalk fashion collections showcasing everything from ballgowns to sports luxe separates and a celebrity clientele ranging from Diane Kruger to Michelle Williams, fashion fans Stateside are in for a treat. The plus side? No getting caught in that launch day shopping scrum. Yeah, who are we kidding? GG

Kate Middleton Wears Reiss' £175 Shola Dress To Meet The Obamas

The Duchess of Cambridge wears a Reiss dress to meet Michelle Obama

Everyone may have been going Pippa Middleton crazy while Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s been on honeymoon, but the duchess is home, bronzed and ready to claim back the style spotlight. And what did she choose to wear for her first post-marital royal appointment meeting Barack Obama and his wife Michelle?Another McQueen number perhaps, or something by her beloved Issa? Neither! Kate hotfooted it to the high street (or had someone hotfoot it for her, we’re not quite sure how royal shopping works) and snapped up Reiss’ £175 Shola bandage dress for the occasion. That’s right, another piece of the Middleton wardrobe you can get your hands on – we like how these sisters work. The beige dress looked divinely demure against her golden glow, but more than held it’s own against First Lady fashionista Michelle’s bright block colours. Welcome back K-Mid! GG

Michelle Takes Inspiration From Rihanna

Michelle Takes Inspiration From Rihanna

Michelle Obama steals Rihannas hairstyle.

Rihanna has become the unlikely style icon for Michelle Obama as Americas leading lady stepped out yesterday, sporting a hair style very similar to the famous popstar.

Mrs Obama put up her hair to look as if it had been cut into a pixie crop with a sweeping fringe, very like that of the Umbrella singer.

Michelle was addressing the Time 100 galain New York which honours the magazines 100 most influential people in the world.

The sleek hairdo was perfectly teamed with a floor-length black gown, accessorised with statement beads and a structured clutch bag.

Michelle just keeps getting better and better, this is our favourite look so far. We just hope Michelle doesn't start copying Rihanna's crazy dress and start wearing Rodarte's thigh high leggings. The style stalking stops here Michelle!
