Katy B and Marina Diamandis certainly put a feminine spin on proceedings at the NME Awards 2012 last night! The singers both wore super-girlie prom dresses, as championed on the SS12 catwalk at Louis Vuitton. We love how Katy has added a fierce edge with studded heels, and Marina’s gone utterly spring-like with minty toenails. These ladies sure do scrub up well! HE

She's been off our radar for a while, but Marina And The Diamonds frontwoman Marina Diamandis is back with a hot new hairstyle. The singer chose a trip to the Radio 1 studios today to show off her new blonde hair and we must say we're loving her new look. The NME Awards 2011: The A-List Lowdown
Champers in hand at the NME Awards 2011, we caught up with Alexa Chung, Marina Diamandis and Juliette Lewis to talk all things wardrobe. “I’m wearing a Christopher Kane dress that I love. It’s so comfortable”, said Alexa Chung . She is, of course, referring to the cult Christopher Kane galaxy print that’s been seen on more red carpets than Diane Kruger recently.
Marina Diamandis meanwhile was championing new designer Hasan Hejazi – “I’m wearing a dress by the same designer as the dress I wore to The LOOK Show SS11 on Friday. I’m trying to show him off as much as possible at the moment – he’s brilliant, and I like being able to help my friends out.” We hope it’s not on loan; it looks like the pesky London rain got the better of her silky white floor-sweeper.
Juliette Lewis provided the classic rock’n’roll look with sequined skinnies and a leather biker, and the Hollywood heavyweight said she’s definitely more comfortable in her signature grunge looks than doing red carpet glamour “I feel more like me when I’m making music. I can dress like me. Next week I’m going to the Oscar parties and I’m going to have to be glamorous. It’s fun, but I don’t want to do it all the time.” Oh, if only we could be so complacent about VIP parties and killer couture! GG

Marina Diamandis Rocks A Fluoro Lip At The NME Awards 2011
If there’s one way make sure you stand out in a crowd of wall-to-wall rock gods and goddesses at the NME Awards 2011, Marina Diamandis has nailed it. Not only did she look head-to-toe elegant in a stunning white dress split thigh high, she also put her own eccentric stamp on the look too. Complementing it was a rainbow-bright scarf tied into a kooky headband and a slick of fluro orange/pink lipstick. Not only was it eye-poppingly bright, but neon – the hot lip shade on models at The LOOK show - is bang-on-trend too. The LOOK Show SS11 – All The Gossip!
The LOOK Show SS11 is over but we’re still buzzing after spotting Olivia Palermo, Jaime Winstone, Marina Diamdis and co front row, Petra Nemcova and Leah Weller storming the runway, and Alexis Jordan belting out her chart topper ‘Happiness’. Blonde bombshell Lyndsey took the LOOK and Lorraine Curvy Model Crown, and the outfits all looked amazing. We’re off to catch Sunday Girl and Wonderland perform right now. Bag Envy Alert! Marina Diamandis’ Amazing Angel Jackson Arm Candy
If ever there was a bag made for Marina Diamandis, it’s Angel Jackson’s Bang! satchel. The pop princess went all-out on the accessories front at the London College of Fashion MA Graduate show last night, giving her retro frock a subtle ‘70s vibe with tasselled bag and a pair of towering rainbow platforms. We’re huge fans of the luxe arm-candy label, so we couldn’t believe our luck when we found out the pop art-inspired Bang! and Pow! bags are in the sale, reduced from £304 to £213.
