Madonna Storms Super Bowl

Madonna makes her comeback with a performance at the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is the biggest event in American football, and it’s just as famous for it’s wow factor half time show as is it for the sport. At yesterday’s extravaganza, Madonna made her much anticipated comeback, and put on one killer performance. With cheerleaders, pom poms, a golden throne and a little help from Nicki Minaj, M.I.A, Cee Lo Green and LMFAO, the Queen of Pop can safely hold on to her crown for a little while longer!

Decked out in black and gold stage costumes especially designed by Givenchy Haute Couture, Madge wowed the crowd with ‘Vogue’, ‘Like A Prayer’ and her new single ‘Give Me All Your Lovin’ with a white haired Miss Minaj and M.I.A. Lady GaGa who? GG

Madonna And Her WE Girls Hit The Red Carpet

Madonna, Andrea Riseborough and Natalie Dormer on the red carpet in London

Madonna’s hotly anticipated directorial debut, WE, finally hits screens on 20 January, and last night she took to the red carpet with two of its stars at the London premiere.

Looking suitably retro in a Jean Paul Gaultier dress, Dolce & Gabbana lace cape and red gloves, Madonna posed alongside leading lady (and hot one to watch) Andrea Risebourough and her co-star Natalie Dormer. Andrea, who plays Wallis Simpson in the story about the socialite's love affair with King Edward VIII, which eventually led to his abdication of the throne, glowed in a claret Marios Schwab gown and Chopard jewels, while Natalie followed Madge’s lead in a Dolce & Gabbana lacy LBD. Talk about a red- carpet triple whammy! GG

Madonna Gets Ready To Launch Her First Fragrance

Madonna's new fragrance Truth or Dare will launch in the UK in May 2012

Here at LOOK we've stumbled across another celebrity fragrance, but this perfume's got a star-studded twist as it's from our pop heroine Madonna – and it's her first one! So, we wanted to know, why now? Madonna says: "I’ve been obsessed with perfumes for years, and wanted to create something that was an expression of me, but that other people could relate to as well. Something honest, yet daring, hence the name 'Truth or Dare'." It's set to be a mix of light florals, with a stronger woody and vanilla base. Plus Madonna will be starring in the ad campaign – so get ready to see and smell the popstar everywhere. You’ll have to be patient though, as it won’t be available until May 2012 – we just wanted to give you a heads up, because we're kind like that! VJ

Madonna And Kylie Minogue Work French Maid Chic

Madonna and Kylie Minogue wearing white collared shirts under black dresses

Madonna and Kylie Minogue have both stepped out in crisp white oversized shirts under black sheath dresses, sparking what we reckon is a huge trend for autumn/winter.

Madonna wore her L'Wren Scott number in Venice for the W.E. photocall, while Kylie Minogue donned her monochrome outfit for a meeting with her management in London yesterday. Although this look resembles that of a French maid crossed with a convent nun, take inspiration from both Madonna and Kylie Minogue and pair with really high heels (Madge’s YSL Tributes are bang on), and while the weather is still above freezing, bare legs to stop it from looking prudish.   This look also stormed the Louis Vuitton AW11 catwalk and starched crisp collars adorned many of the runway looks over at Miu Miu. So get rifling through your wardrobe and dig out an LBD and the crispest shirt you can find! RS

  • Keep collars crisp and pointy to nail this look – a shirt with a Peter Pan collar will give a completely different feel.
  • Let the cuffs of the shirt poke out from under the sleeve of your dress, roll them back like Kylie for a smarter finish.
  • Stick to a longer hemline to keep the look demure and office appropriate.
  • Work this collar under a jumper too for when the weather turns colder.

Jaw-Dropping! Madonna And Andrea Riseborough Hit Venice

Madonna and Andrea Riseborough at the premiere of Madonna's new movie W.E

It was the premiere of her directorial debut W.E, at the 68th Venice Film Festival so it goes without saying that Madonna would rock up in a stunner of an outfit. We can safely say, she nailed it!

At 53, Madonna proves you're as young as you feel, owning the red runway in a playful, bespoke butterfly-plastered dove-grey gown by Italian label Vionnet. The pièce de résistance? Those glittering specs. Cool and classy in one.

Rising British actress and star of the movie Andrea Riseborough picked a lemon Christian Dior Couture floor sweeper. All that tulle looks so magical, we're a teeny weeny bit jealous she got to play princess for the night!

Madonna's first film, Filth And Wisdom, co-directed with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, didn't go down well with critics back in 2008 but we've no doubt the pop queen's back with a bang this time. A royal flick, W.E, is about the Duchess of Windsor and King Edward VIII. With Madonna giving the film a modern twist, we 100% can't wait to see it. LW

The Met Ball 2011: It’s All About The Brits

Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow wearing Stella McCartney

It’s certainly all about London designers at the moment and the red carpet was buzzing with them at the Costume Institute Gala Met Ball 2011.

Whether it was because this year's Met Ball was dedicated to the late Alexander McQueen or because Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge, stepped out of her car in Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen on Friday or just because our Brit designers are just so brilliant – either way, the fashion houses of London were represented all over the red carpet! Aww, we're so proud to be British right now!

The most spotted by far were Stella McCartney's dresses (and jumpsuit worn by Iman). The designer's chums Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow were sporting her dresses, with Madge in an amazing silk turquoise gown with embellished stars. Stella also dressed Rihanna, Hailee Steinfeld, Eva Mendes, Naomi Watts and pregnant Kate Hudson, who looked radiant in a cream gown.

Also flying the flag for Britain, was Alexa Chung in one of Christopher Kane’s next season's dresses and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a satin Burberry number. That's not forgetting the designer of the week, McQueen's protégé, Sarah Burton, who wore one of her gowns and dressed Daphne Guinness and Naomi Campbell in head-to-toe feather dresses. Amazing!

Take a look at all the dresses from the Met Ball 2011 below…

Madonna Celebrates Her 52nd Birthday In True Style

Madonna arriving at London's Shoreditch House to celebrate her 52nd Birthday

Madonna looked every inch the style icon as she arrived at London’s Shoreditch House to celebrate her 52nd birthday. Looking demure in a figure-hugging dress by Dolce & Gabbana, Madonna was joined by boyfriend Jesus Luz for the celebrations (we wonder what pressie he got her?).  The Queen of Pop continued to push the fashion boundaries as she completed her look with a selection of unusual accessories, including a beaded hand decoration and a collection of crucifixes – one worn around her neck and another in her hand. Well, we wouldn’t expect anything less from the world’s most iconic trendsetter. To celebrate her big day, we’ve rounded up her most memorable fashion moments from the very beginning… SD

Madonna And Taylor Momsen Launch Material Girl At Macy's

Taylor Momsen performs at the launch of Madonna's Material Girl range at Macy's.

With Lourdes blogging about how “awesome” the collection is, Taylor Momsen signing up as poster girl, then being shot for the campaign by none other than the queen of pop herself, Madonna’s Material Girl line had been causing a stir way before it landed in Macy’s New York yesterday. Taylor performed as hundreds of teens flocked to the department store – some dressed up as Madonna - to get their hands on the grungy range of slashed leggings, crop tops, ra-ra skirts, studs, leather and tartan. With her reputation as Gossip Girl’s resident fashion rebel, peroxide blonde locks and penchant for fishnet tights, we couldn’t think of a better campaign girl to channel Madge’s iconic 80’s style.
