Knitwear Rules At The Sundance Film Festival 2012
Liv Tyler and Victoria Justice both opted for cosy sweaters at The Sundance Film Festival 2012, forgoing the usual dress and heels combo that we're used to seeing at red-carpet events. Liv Tyler opted for an oversized mohair floral wreath design by Givenchy, which she teamed with a body-con skirt and Jimmy Choo boots for the premiere of Robot & Frank. Victoria Justice attended The First Time film premiere wearing an equally casual combo of an Aztec striped knit teamed with black knee-high boots and jeans. Maybe it’s the cold weather that made them go for jumpers, or maybe they just want to be comfy for a change – either way, it sure makes us feel better on a Monday! RS

Stars Step Out For Stella McCartney's Store Launch
Stella McCartney called on her super-stylish A-list pals for her fashion store launch in New York last night. BBFs Naomi Watts and Liv Tyler hit SoHo looking utterly chic in Stella McCartney dresses, what else? Other A-listers attending the opening included comedian Kristen Wiig, US X factor judge LA Reid (who knew he was a fan?) and American Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Looks like Stella McCartney's rock star father, Paul McCartney, had to decline the invite though, as he and wife Nancy are currently honeymooning in Jamaica. Don't worry Stella, we’re sure he sent you a postcard! SR

Olivia Palermo And Liv Tyler Go (Colour) Pop!
Thank you Olivia Palermo and Liv Tyler, this is what we like to see on the red carpet. The two seriously stylish ladies made sure they stood out on the black carpet at a screening of Liv’s new movie The Ledge thanks to some eye poppingly bright dresses. Olivia Palermo colour clashed in a mustard yellow SS11 Victoria Beckham dress and bubblegum pink clutch – we’ve seen her carrying that ruffled arm candy before, and those Charlotte Olympia leopard heels have hit the red carpet a few times too. Oh how we love a celeb who’s not afraid of a wardrobe recycle. She’s also picked summer’s hottest shade that’s a huge hit for AW11 too. The girl knows her trends.
Meanwhile Liv went for a super sexy look in a curve-clinging blue pencil dress with a black side panel that cleverly tricks the eye into thinking she’s even slimmer. We want one of those please! Paired with pointy Christian Louboutin courts, Hollywood waves and a scarlet lip Ms Tyler looked smoking. GG

Hollywood’s Cool Crowd Hits The Red Carpet
You don’t get more fashion forward than the guest list at Target’s GQ International Designers Collective Launch. The cult US bargain store, famous for it’s hook-ups with designers including Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and Mulberry threw a bash to celebrate the re-release of the most popular pieces from past collections, and the celebs were out in force. First up a wardrobe double whammy from Liv Tyler and Chloë Sevigny, all statement shoes – Liv’s are from Chloë’s latest collection for Opening Ceremomy – and kooky hair. We almost thought Ms Tyler had gone for an undercut, but it’s just a sneaky side plait. Gorgeous actress Lake Bell made off-duty work for the red carpet in a cute skirt and sweater combo and the sort of just-got-out-of-bed hair that we can never seem to get right, sigh.
We’re considering a trip across the pond just to raid Target’s rails. GG

Inside Paris Fashion Week AW11's Hottest Party
If there’s anything that’ll pull in a cooler crowd than the Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci front row, it’s the after-party, and last night fashion’s finest took over the very cool L’Arc restaurant in Paris to celebrate the AW11 collection. Florence Welch was working the room, flitting between cosying up to Riccardo Tisci and Kanye West to Kate Moss, while Liv Tyler, weirdly enough wearing the same T-shirt as Mr West, partied with model pal Frankie Rayder. Something tells us she didn’t see that one coming! But it was Nicole Richie who really got the VIP treatment, looking sleek in a Givenchy leather dress and topknot hairstyle, she joined Tisci at a table overflowing with Moët before being introduced to industry queen Carine Roitfeld. With rumours flying round Paris Fashion Week AW11 that the Givenchy designer, with Carine Roitfeld as his stylist, is in pole position to take over from John Galliano at Christian Dior, we’d give our right arm to be a fly on the wall during that conversation! Beauty Inspiration: Pale IS Interesting
We may be seeing the first exciting hints of spring, but we’re already considering skipping the fake tan entirely. Well, this week at least. Everyone from Liv Tyler to Dianna Agron are going more St Ives than St Tropez, so it’s time to embrace our UK glow and be happy with pale. Hey, it works wonders for Robert Pattinson!
Here are our top three tips on how to make the most of pale skin:

Jessica Alba, Liv Tyler and Olivia Palermo are just three of the fashion elite who have been rocking checked shirts for an impressive off-duty style. Liv Tyler looked effortlessly cool as she strolled around LA in a pair of ripped jeans, navy flats and a matching checked shirt. Meanwhile, actress Jessica Alba was also sporting the same off-duty uniform as she lunched with her husband in Beverly Hills wearing a red and blue check shirt, cropped trousers and oversized shades - we love!
