Calvin Klein’s Killer Front Row At New York Fashion Week
Yes, yes, we know London Fashion Week SS12 has now started (and we'll keep you fully updated on it!), but we couldn’t resist giving you a final fix from across the pond. The Calvin Klein Collection spring/summer 2012 fashion show was one of the last on the New York Fashion Week schedule, and boy did it bag some seriously A-list fashion fans on the front row. Squeezed onto the plush, white leather seats catwalk-side were Lara Stone, Ashley Greene, Chloe Moretz, Naomi Watts and Uma Thurman, all working the signature Calvin Klein minimalist look.
CK poster girl Lara Stone stood out in her zingy, curve-clinging dresses, accessorised with monochrome heels and her hubby David Walliams. But it was super-cute Chloe whose style we were really lusting over. It may have been her first fashion show, but the star fitted in like a true fashion week pro in head-to-toe Calvin with gorgeous golden waves (we’re officially jealous of a 14-year-old!). After pulling off a front-row look this good, we reckon she’ll have the fashion world at her feet by next season! Lara Stone Is Crowned Woman Of The Year
Fab fashion model Lara Stone added yet another notch to her ever-growing CV last night as she managed to scoop the British prize for Woman of the Year at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2011. Having dominated fashion’s hottest catwalks and appearing on numerous fashion magazine covers over the year including Vogue, it was clear that Lara Stone was GQ’s undisputed winner.
David Walliams’ wife hit the star-studded magazine bash looking every inch the supermodel as she collected her prestigious prize from comedian Jimmy Carr wearing an orange body-con dress by Calvin Klein.
Lara Stone's orange designer dress not only managed to show off her killer bod, it also catapulted her to the tops of this week's best dressed list as she gave a masterclass on how to wear one of AW11's hottest fashion trends - orange. It’s An A-List Masquerade!
If there’s one party everyone was waiting for at Paris Fashion Week, it was Carine Roitfeld’s masquerade ball in celebration of French Vogue’s 90th anniversary. The glitterati piled into the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo sporting an array of masks, ranging from the subtle to the spectacularly OTT. And the fashion didn’t disappoint, either. French Vogue editor Carine dared to bare in a sheer dress with strategically placed leopard-print patches, while Lara Stone shimmered in sequinned Calvin Klein Collection. And it seems Ms Roitfeld had a few competitors for her risqué crown, as Dita Von Teese attended in little more than a coat and stockings, Lily Donaldson went for bra-flashing red Dior and Natalia Vodianova’s modesty was saved only by a little bit of lace. Lara Stone Confirmed As Face Of Calvin Klein
Lara Stone, currently ranked no.1 female fashion model in the world (well done David Walliams, eh?), has been confirmed as the exclusive face for Calvin Klein, which basically means about a million different collections including ck Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Collection. Shot by the cream of fashion photographers, including Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Fabien Baron and Steven Klein, and being surrounded by lots of rather fit male models, it doesn't look like a bad day job to us. Lara Stone Models For Jaeger London
Tipped to be the supermodel for 2010, Lara Stone has hit our radar for a lot more reasons than her recent engagement to ladies’ man David Walliams.
She’s modelled for designer labels from Chanel to Prada and graced the covers of Vogue and I-D, and she’s showing no sign of stopping, as she’s just been announced as the face of Jaeger London’s spring 2010 collection.
Jaeger London’s new collection hits stores at the end of February, and Features ‘70s-inspired pieces with playsuits, knitwear and tailoring in shades of apple, turquoise, red and gold. We're lusting after the bright red jumpsuit and high–shine accessories – although we’re not sure we’ll make them look as good as Lara! - HE
