Robert Pattinson has really neglected us lately. Since the Twilight films wrapped, the actor’s been too busy working on 'serious' films to appear much in public, or answer our letters about coming round for an ‘Edward-themed tea party’. Frankly, it’s rude. But we’re not taking it personally (we are).

To celebrate his 27th birthday today, we’ve come up with 27 reasons why Rob is still the only vampire for us.

1.    Right – *clears throat* - let’s get this one out of the way early on: He is sexy. So so sexy. 

2.    He plays the piano. Which, despite seven months of lessons and seven months of lies to our parents about having “just finished practicing”, we cannot do.

3.    He got expelled from school, which makes him a BAD BOY. And you know how we all feel about bad boys (we like them) (assuming the bad boy looks like Robert Pattinson).

4.    “I’d like to see Cheryl Cole back on the UK X Factor,” he adorably once said, subverting all our preconceptions about how he’d be way too cool for The X Factor. Hmm, imagine a cosy Saturday night on the sofa with Rob, sweetly debating the meaning behind Louis Walsh’s existence. 

5.    Er, celeb mates much? He parties with Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Sienna Miller… 

6.    His middle name is Thomas. Which is… a great name? Shut up, it’s a reason.

7.    Remember Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire? Of course you do, because it was Robert Pattinson’s big break when we all realized he was meant for big things. OK, we didn’t take any notice of him. But cool that he was in it, yeah?

8.    LA might get to keep him most of the time, but he’s a Brit boy at heart, admitting in an interview once: “It’s episodes of Only Fools And Horses and Fawlty Towers that keep me going in the evening.”

9.    The man is very forgiving (sorry to bring up the married-man thing again, Kristen Stewart).

10.    While the rest of Hollywood’s leading men are stuck at Tom Cruise level, Rob’s a very appealing 6’1”.

11.    He’s a Taurus and Taureans are – and we’re quoting very well-qualified astrology types here – “warmhearted and loving.”

12.    Rob was born in the Chinese year of the Tiger. Roar.

13.    He sang TWO songs on the Twilight soundtrack. 'Never Think' and 'Let Me Sign'. Dribble. 

14.    He says his big hair is a result of him pulling it due to stress. He’s vulnerable and needs fixing. 

15.    He was named one of the “sexiest men alive” by People magazine in 2009 and 2010. We refer you to #1 on this list.

16.    He supports Arsenal football club. So do we! Well, we do now. 

17.    He doesn’t like Uggs, which is great because we never wear them (in the summer).

18.    75,000 people signed a petition for him not to play Edward Cullen but he knew better. 75,000 were then proved absolutely wrong.

19.    He once said this: “I have a romantic soul”. 

20.    “Round, female bottoms are very much a miracle,” says Rob. He just gets us.

21.    Shoe size… 11. Minds out of the gutter, ladies.

22.    He loves animals and shares a dog with Kristen, named Bear. Aww. 

23.    Even a fake Rob is loveable. A totally unofficial R-Patz account on Twitter has over half a million followers. Are you one of them? You know that’s not him, right?

24.    His BFF is hot actor, Tom Sturridge. So, like, you get two for the price of one.

25.    The man once invited a fan out for dinner when he was having "a bad day". When’s it our turn?

26.    He goes to extreme lengths for his art, once even learning how to scuba dive for a movie role. If that doesn’t scream ‘commitment’, we don’t know what does.

27.    And finally, it’s his birthday, and everyone deserves to be loved on their birthday. Especially if you look like Rob.

Kristen Stewart has a very distinctive look when it comes to style and the star isn't going to be bossed around by the fash pack – least of all her stylist.

So Tara Swennen, who regularly persuades the self-confessed tomboy out of her Converse and into killer red-carpet looks, has our full respect. But if there is one trend Kristen certainly won't be rocking – like ever – it's a peplum. Nope, no way, absolutely not.

Tara told Stylecaster.com: "Last season, it was so funny because they called us out in The New York Times [that] Kristen had hit every trend last year except for a peplum!" She added. "She’s not a fan of peplums. I tried with 20 peplum dresses this year, and it was not happening! I’m trying to get her to do the high-neck turtleneck thing – I’m trying to push her."

Judging by her amazing fashion performance at the Met Gala, the pushing is working an absolute treat so far!

Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry have always been close pals and they’ve often been spotted hanging out with Katy’s bessie Kristen Stewart. But on Friday night, Katy and a couple of friends had Rob all to themselves, even though K-Stew was also in New York.

After R-Patz’s no-show at The Met Gala 2013, it would be easy to assume things weren’t too rosy between the on-off couple, but the situation isn’t quite as bad as it seems.

Kristen clearly had no hard feelings about Rob and Katy’s cosy dinner date from a few days earlier, as straight after the ball on Monday, Kristen snuck off to see her beloved.

The Twilight actress rushed out of the MoMA with Tom Sturridge, Sienna Miller and close friend Elle Fanning in tow, while Katy went on to a different after-party.

We’re so jealous is almost painful.

The Met Gala 2013 was one of our fave in the style stakes by far, thanks to the punk fashion theme, amazing couture dresses, and obvs Anne Hathaway's new blonde crop (we know, it was a shock to us too!). Kristen Stewart arrived at the Met Gala 2013 with new pals Stella McCartney and Cameron Diaz, but there was no sign of Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight actress rocked up to the ball in a chic red jumpsuit designed by Stella and the pair were joined by Cameron, who wore a suitably punk-ish gold studded belt. Maybe Kristen asked the ladies along for a bit of grown-up moral support as it looks like things may not be too peachy between her and Rob.

With rumours still flying that she’s rekindled her romance with Rupert Sanders – and following Rob’s hasty departure from her hometown – Kristen looked understandably glum on the red carpet.

We thought things might be looking up for K-Stew as she’d been spending time with Rob working through the fallout from the cheating scandal. She was all smiles at the Kids’ Choice Awards, but last night Kristen was back to her usual stony-faced look.

We can’t help but wonder if it’s finally curtains for the turbulent couple…

Robert Pattinson is doing his bit for Brits across the pond by being a jolly charming English gent – and we couldn't be more proud.

While visiting girlfriend Kristen Stewart in Los Feliz, California, R-Patz nipped into the Chevron mini market to pick up supplies for his beloved.

And it's safe to say the heart-throb went down a treat in Kristen's part of town, with the (almost definitely female) locals saying: "He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He is really cool and friendly."

And like any proper English gent, Robert is a creature of habit and a stickler for timings as the local added: ‘He always comes around noon when a fresh pot of coffee has been brewed.’

But it would seem Robert has spent a little more time practising his charms than he has spent brushing up on his kitchen skills, as the insiders revealed his only groceries were milk (for tea obvs) and power bars!

Kristen Stewart has been crowned the world's best-dressed woman, narrowly pipping Emma Watson and Kate Middleton to the post in a recent poll. Emma Stone and Taylor Swift also made the top five in the list, but Kristen triumphed as the style queen. 

The news should come as a welcome celebration for Kristen who has just waved Robert Pattinson off on the LA tarmac, amid rumours she's cheating with Rupert Sanders again – uh oh! Luckily Kristen is better at ruling the red carpet than she is at handling her love life. The Twilight star has been rolling out some pretty amazing outfits on the red carpet recently, including creations by Erdem, Marchesa, Ellie Saab, Dior, Balenciaga and this absolutely stunning beaded Zuhair Murad creation she wore at the Twilight: Breaking Dawn premiere.

Kristen said recently: “I've always had an aversion to looking sexy, but I've grown out of it". She really has! In the past couple of years Kristen has been through an amazing style evolution, from tomboy to total red carpet vamp, showcasing some pretty beautiful couture along the way. But we're just not sure her dressed-down style (and penchant for raiding Rob's wardrobe) makes her worthy of her crown. Surely no one does casual quite like Cara? The jury's out on this one.

Robert Pattinson has arrived back in Los Angeles just hours after reports that Kristen Stewart had allegedly met up with her former flame, Rupert Sanders. 

The actor jetted into New York on Monday and spent the last two days in the city, though it's not known what he was up to. Yesterday, he left his NYC hotel wearing a checked hoody and jeans and sporting a (scrummy) beard before hopping on a flight back home. Let's just take a second to appreciate how how he looks right now... sigh.  

Kristen was caught up in a media storm yesterday after pictures emerged of the star hopping into a waiting car with what looked like Rupert. The actress had just enjoyed a meal with friends when she got inside a waiting car underneath a huge 'valet' sign. 

But it seems to be a case of mistaken identity, as a source told HollywoodLife.com yesterday: "That man is a driver, a valet driver. After he drove the car to the front of the parking area, he got out and the two young women in the photo got into the car.

"That young girl wearing glasses, Kristen Stewart, got into the passenger’s side. She is a regular here and very friendly."

No wonder Rob looks pretty grumpy. We bet he's rushing straight home to comfort Kristen. Chin up, lady.

Kristen Stewart is facing new rumours about her relationship with Rupert Sanders today, after she was photographed stepping into a car with a man who resembles the Snow White & The Huntsman director. 

The actress, who admitted to a "momentary indiscretion" with her colleague last year, was snapped outside Malo restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday night after having dinner with friends.  

She appears to get into a waiting car, which looks very similar to Rupert's black Acura. The pictures are too grainy to make out the man's face and were taken just outside a 'valet' sign, prompting some to say that the gent is merely delivering Kristen's car after her meal. 

Rob jetted out of LAX airport on the same night, and is thought to be headed to Toronto to film his new movie, Maps To The Stars (though we're secretly hoping he's heading home to London).  

Looks like the poor loves won't ever escape these break-up rumours. If you need a shoulder to cry on, Rob…

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have spent every waking moment together in recent weeks – and it's no surprise – as the loved-up pair had to go their separate ways again at the weekend. Sniff. 

Rob was spotted at LAX yesterday, and it's thought he was hopping on a flight to Toronto to film his new movie, Maps To The Stars. The trip comes just weeks after Rob returned from a two-month stint working on The Rover in Australia. 

Dressed in jeans, a navy blue t-shirt and hoody with sunglasses and carrying his own luggage, Rob strolled quickly through the airport and the sea of snappers, his passport clutched tightly in his hand. What, no K-Stew to wave him off? Nope. 

The actress reportedly gave Rob a mini send-off at her mum's house in Malibu, instead. A source tells HollywoodLife.com: "Yesterday Kristen threw a small get together at her mum’s house in Malibu. Rob and their friend Marcus Foster, and a few other friends were all there. 

"Earlier in the day they went paddle boarding at the private beach where Jules lives. Rob and Kristen have been wanting to spend as much time as possible with each other before he leaves." 

This makes us think that's Rob's going to be away for a while. Here's hoping he's not really going to Toronto, and is, in fact, coming home to us. IMAGINE.
