Kara Tointon And Kimberley Walsh Rule The Olivier Awards Red Carpet
The Laurence Olivier Awards are the Oscars of theatreland, so it was glamorous gowns galore from London’s stage stars on the red carpet last night. Attendees included Katherine Kelly in a canary yellow floorsweeper, and Captain America star Hayley Atwell in a nude curve clinging fishtail gown, but it was Kara Tointon and Kimberley Walsh that stole the show.
Kara, who is currently treading the boards in Absent Friends at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre, slinked down the red carpet in a sequined Alice & Olivia midi dress, amping up the twenties flapper feel with her hair set in a chic marcel wave. Shrek star Kimberley looked spring fresh in a white appliqué gown and loose tousled locks. While both ladies went home empty handed, it’s fair to say they swept the board in the style stakes.
Matilda The Musical was the standout star of the night, bagging a record seven Olivier awards including Best New Musical and Best Actress In A Musical, while Luther star and Jude Law’s latest squeeze Ruth Wilson took home the Best Actress gong for her role in Anna Christie. GG

Cheryl Cole – Back In The Spotlight
Cheryl Cole may have slipped off the style radar for a little while, but this week she came back with a bang, first at the Pride of Britain Awards 2011 and last night taking a trip to the theatre to watch Kimberley Walsh’s Shrek The Musical debut.
Cheryl caused a paparazzi frenzy en route to the theatre, but once inside cosied up to Kimberley and fellow Girl Aloud Nicola Roberts, who was celebrating her 26th birthday. While Cheryl went all-out glam with an on-the-money peplum and ruff detail Moschino dress and matching heels, Nicola worked her usual fashion-forward style in a high-waisted tweed skirt and chain-trimmed leather jacket. It must have been a good night as Chezza couldn’t stop tweeting her excitement, first posting a picture of her and Kimberley in costume saying ‘Me and my Princess Fiona’ before later tweeting ‘Kimberley absolutely killed it…what a great show!!’ We bet the trio had a great night on the tiles celebrating later on – what we’d give to party with those girls! Celebrity Hair Trend: The Charlie’s Angels Brush-Out
Hair news just in! Glam ’70s waves are the hottest celebrity look right now. Attending the film premiere of her movie debut Horrid Henry, Kimberley Walsh and her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts were both spotted with seriously big and beautiful ’dos. These Charlie's Angels-inspired curls are back on trend, with waves ruling the red carpet. To copy the style, curl your hair as normal, going for smaller loose sections like Kimberley or bigger defined waves like Nicola (making sure you curl the hair in the same direction), then brush the curl out. Yes we know it sounds scary, but it works, we promise! Tip your head over, blast with hairspray, flip back, spray some more, then use your fingers to define the curls. The result? A natural voluminous style.

Kimberley Walsh Wears Red On The Red Carpet
Kimberley Walsh looked stunning in a red Karen Karam dress teamed with bright lippy as she hit the red carpet for the Horrid Henry premiere, in which she makes her acting debut as Prissy Polly – Henry’s cousin. Her fellow Girls Aloud band members Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts were on hand to show their support, with Sarah wearing metallic body con while Nicola opted for a Topshop Unique plunging yellow maxi. We couldn’t help but notice a certain band member was missing though… RS

Kimberley Walsh Gives The Ponytail Hairstyle A Revamp
Last night we saw celebs flock to the Prince’s Trust Success Awards 2011 and we knew we’d be in for quite a treat with some gorgeous frocks and killer blow-dries to look at. We have to say though, we thought all eyes would be on Cheryl Cole, but instead best friend Kimberley Walsh was the one that stole our eye, beauty-wise. Spotted on the AW11 catwalk as a hotter-than-hot trend, ponytails are massive for next season, but on trend Kimberley Walsh's got in there before summer’s already struck. Her rolled pony hairstyle is amazing! Next time you rock this look, make sure you massage your fingers into the roots to mess it up – you don’t want it too look too perfect. SF

Nicola Roberts And Kimberley Walsh Rule The Red Carpet
Now that’s what we call an entrance! Bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh looked stunning as they arrived at The Sun Military Awards 2010 in London on Wednesday night. We can’t work out which dress we prefer – Nicola’s sexy Vivienne Westwood leopard print dress (teamed with Christian Louboutin shoes, obvs) or Kimberley’s chic lace number. One thing’s for sure, though: we’ll definitely be trying out their hairstyles over Christmas – pass the hairspray please! HE

Nicola Roberts Wins Best Dressed At The Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards 2010
Nicola Roberts, Fearne Cotton, Kimberley Walsh, Karen Gillan and Alexandra Burke were just a few of fashion’s finest who hit the town on Tuesday 2 November for the Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards 2010.
Our favourite dress of the evening? Nicola Roberts’ amazing printed silk micro-dress by BodyAmr – oh, what we’d give to wear that to one of our Christmas parties!
Kimberley Walsh didn’t let the Girls Aloud team down, either, going for old-school glam with an impressive statement hairstyle teamed with a curve-hugging dress – we love. Check out all the rest of the amazing outfits here. SD
