Beauty Brand Of The Week: Kevin Murphy
Who? Kevin Murphy – a hair brand with a super-cool fashion edge that's loved by industry insiders. It’s a backstage regular at some of the most exclusive fashion shows, which is why we’re making it our beauty brand of the week!
Why? We love experimenting with hair trends, and Kevin Murphy’s range of super styling products makes high-fashion hair easy. From hydrating treatments and curl- enhancing lotions to thickening sprays and even coloured hair powders – whatever the style, you’re covered.
Best Buys? It’s time to ditch the fiddly kirby grips, as Kevin Murphy has just launched a hair sewing kit! The £12.95 kit – which includes 3 colours of linen thread and two needles – means that rather than pinning, you sew your style in place. It's a great way to keep your hair looking flawless from morning until night. Plus, you can easily weave in flowers or jewels and create gorgeous red carpet-worthy styles like Katy Perry and Paloma Faith. It’s a must-have hair kit for festivals! VJ

Kylie Minogue Rocks Fiery Prada Heels
She's the queen of sophisticated casual style, so it was only natural that Kylie Minogue would be the next celeb to rock Prada's Hot Rod heels - only this time with rolled up boyfriend jeans and a slouchy tee.
Favoured by the likes of Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peas' Fergie, Prada's Fifties style flame shoes are the cremé de la cremé of statement fashion footwear, and we've fallen head over heels for Kylie's sumptious emerald pair.
Better yet, we can't fault the teeny popstar for teaming them with such an achievable casual look. Kylie's style masterclass? Those fab summer shoes eagerly hidden at the back of your wardrobe are the perfect daytime accessory, with or without summer sunshine, so start parading them with confidence. HG

Any Marc By Marc Jacobs fans in London over the next month should make a beeline for Selfridges Shoe Galleries. The quirky pumps have become such a cult buy thanks celeb fans including Katy Perry, Mischa Barton and even Beyonce mini-me Blue Ivy, that the pop-up will stock fifteen different versions. Take your pick from edgy studs, metallics and espadrille soles.

Coachella Fashion Catch-Up: Get Nikki Reed's Look!
We've been enviously eyeing up Coachella festival get-ups from Katy Perry, Fergie, and now Twilight star Nikki Reed, since the Californian music event started last week. At only £33 the dress is an obvious summer bargain, and it's perfect for lazy drinks by the beach, picnics or just like Nikki - chilling at a festival. So what are you waiting for? HG

Katy Perry's Blue-Haired Coachella Look
Katy Perry turned heads at Coachella this weekend with a deep indigo hairdo. The 'Kissed A Girl Singer' has been sporting blue locks for some time now, but she debuted the darker shade at the California festival.
Katy, pictured here with The Like singer Elizabeth Berg, added a girly touch to her hairstyle with a delicate flower garland. Looking good Katy! IOC

Get Katy Perry’s Pink Pout For £4!
Katy Perry was really working the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards – she rocked up with blue hair, a green outfit and a hot pink pout! It may sound like a colour-clash, but Ms Perry pulled it off.
Even with all that colour going on, it was her bright pink lippy that had our beauty dials in a spin. A fuchsia pink lip is a fab way to add a pop of colour to your everyday make-up, and don’t worry, you don’t have to team it with blue hair to look amazing. We love Avon Ultra Colour Rich Mega Impact Lipstick in Fuchsia Fun, it’s rich, creamy and helps to make your lips look fuller, but the best part is until the 18 April you can bag it for less than half price – it’s down from £8.50 to £4. Time to start stockpiling! VJ

Red Carpet Round Up – Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards '12
With a guest list packed full of hot young Hollywood names, you can always count on the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for an eclectic parade of outfits, and Saturday’s bash gave us everything from Dolce & Gabbana to a slime covered crop top!
Kristen Stewart led the orange carpet glamour pack (yes, we did say Kristen Stewart) in a cobalt blue Stella McCartney lace mini and matching Barbara Bui platforms – which she later swapped for Converse to collect her Favourite Movie Actress award - and a vampy, no pun intended, high ponytail. Emma Stone went for simple but statement in an origami pleated Antonio Berardi skater dress accessorised with nude Alejandro Ingelmo and beau Andrew Garfield, finally confirming their romance in public.
Favourite TV Actress and Favourite Female Singer winner Selena Gomez went head-to-head with Favourite Voice From an Animated Movie winner Katy Perry in a battle of the abs, as both ladies opted for midriff baring skirt and crop top combos. Selena sparkled in a baroque Dolce & Gabbana jewelled two-piece, while Katy paid tribute to the awards’ tradition for sliming attendees in a green gunge covered bra top, printed Gerlan Jeans skirt and matching Prada peep toes. You’ve got to give the girl credit for getting in the spirit of things!
Other winners on the night included Adele for Favourite UK Female Artist, One Direction picked up Favourite UK Band, while Justin Beiber took home the Favourite Male Singer gong, making it a double celebration for Tinsletown’s cutest young couple. Check back later for our gallery with all the red carpet action including Heidi Klum, Kelly Osbourne and Taylor Swift. GG

Hot Label To Watch: Not For Ponies
It’s a known fact we can’t keep a new fashion discovery to ourselves here at LOOK, and Not For Ponies is the latest line to get us talking. Playful, bright and ultra kitsch – we’re talking Paloma Faith levels here – the Manchester-based label is the brainchild of designer Beckie Andrews and is set to inject some major oomph into your wardrobe. For spring summer, it’s more than a little Meadham Kirchhoff inspired, with appliqué teapots, hearts, flowers and ice creams scattered on skater skirts and smock dresses, and t-shirts emblazoned with sweet illustrations. All in all, an array of on-the-money candy colours. If all-out quirky isn’t your bag, go for one piece and team it with sleeker separates to add polish.
Just to up the feel good factor even more, most of the designs are available in ethical options, and prices start at just £20. A little birdy tells us they’ve sent queen of kook Katy Perry a bag of goodies to test out – sounds like a match made in fashion heaven to us. Snap it up now we say, before it hits the big time. Oh, and why Not For Ponies you might ask? Well, because they don’t think their products would suit them apparently. You can’t argue with that!
