Beauty Trend Alert: A-list Love The Gothic Lip!
The A-list were out in all their glory at the Met Ball last night and we’ve been drooling over their super-glam looks all morning! Ditching soft spring tones, celebs were all about making a statement with dark power lips. Kate Bosworth and Lana Del Ray went for deep plum burgundy tones – try Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry, £7.49, to get the look. Jessica Alba and Camilla Belle went for a super-chic brown undertone – we love NARS Liptsick in Tangier, £17.50, the perfect shade for working the gothic-glam trend. VJ

Alice Eve Is Pretty In Prada
Prada’s 50s Americana-inspired SS12 collection is getting some serious A-list love, with everyone from Freida Pinto to Kate Bosworth and Dakota Fanning stepping out in the designs, and now Brit girl Alice Eve is getting in on the action.
Alice ticked off spring's pastel craze nicely in a head-to-toe look from the Italian label at ‘The Raven’ premiere in New York last night, opting for a powder blue dip hem dress and matching jewel-toe ‘Taillight’ wedges. The English rose completed her look with a fifties-esque bouffant updo and dewy make-up. Miuccia Prada would approve, we’re sure! GG

Kate Bosworth Does Off-Duty Dressing – We Love Her Look!
Kate Bosworth never puts a fashion foot wrong – she is super-stylish both on and off the red carpet and this latest outfit showcases Kate's fashion credentials. Rocking a pleated pastel maxi with the trainers of the moment, Isabel Marant hi-tops, Kate showed us how to spin a maxi skirt for day. We love the mix of her pretty chiffon skirt teamed with a grungy grey sweatshirt and trainers.

Hairstyle Inspiration: Kate Bosworth's Side Swept 'Do
You can always rely on Kate Bosworth to pull together an effortlessly chic look. Kate stepped out for the premiere of her new film L!fe Happens in LA wearing a summery buttermilk chiffon dress with metallic accessories. We love Kate’s side swept hairstyle (big news at Salvatore Ferragamo) and pink lips – we feel more beach-like already!
Kate’s co-stars Krysten Ritter and Fallon Goodson also attended the event, but there was no sign of Rachel Bilson... we can only imagine she was tied up polishing her collection for Sunglass Hut. Well, it’s busy work being a celebrity! HE

Kate Bosworth Stuns In Head-To-Toe Red
Kate Bosworth looked very colour co-ordinated as she stepped out at the Black Rock film premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah over the weekend. Wearing a very apt colour palette (well, it is nearly Valentine's day after all) of head-to-toe red, Kate even matched the backdrop – we wonder if she called ahead? Her red leather embellished Antonio Berardi dress was teamed with pointed red courts, a slicked back pony and red lips with minimal make-up. If only we looked this good with our hair scraped back! RS

Mulberry’s Celeb-Packed LA Pool Party
Warning: this story might make you seriously green with envy! Pro party throwers Mulberry held what looked like the most fun fashion bash ever at the infamous Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Jaime King, in a Mulberry ‘Scout’ shirt, denim skirt and those Miu Miu glitter shoes and Cat Deeley in a Mulberry biker jacket, joined Kate Bosworth, Louise Roe and Mulberry Creative Director Emma Hill for fun and frolics beside the pool.
The A-list crowd partied amongst super-sized ice creams and a menagerie of animal balloons – a reference to Mulberry’s key SS12 print – and were treated to a performance from lady of the moment Lana Del Rey before sitting down to a dinner of crab cakes, salmon and lemon tart for afters. So far, so amazing, but to top it all off, guests left clutching one killer goody bag, piled high with Mulberry treats including a ‘Bonkers Beach’ print bikini, jelly sandals, a sweatshirt and satchel. OK, we officially need to become famous! Wonder how many celebs woke up with an inflatable alligator in their bedroom this morning? GG

The Celebs Dress Up For Dinner With Chanel
While most of us made do with a microwave meal in front of the telly last night, the A-list donned their glad rags to dine in style with designer fashion brand Chanel. Kate Bosworth, Cat Deeley, Hailee Steinfeld and Chanel ambassador Poppy Delevingne joined fellow celebs Christina Hendricks, Lily Collins and Elle Fanning at the LA event.
Kate Bosworth worked the ultimate Chanel combo of a chain-trim blouse and boucle skirt, while Poppy showed off another signature look in a tweed mini dress – both accessorised with classic quilted Chanel arm candy, natch. Teen starlet Hailee Steinfeld gave the veteran stylistas a run for their money with her offbeat dress and toe cap boots, and ever-glam Cat Deeley shimmered in a lurex boho dress and matching metallic heels with a perfectly tousled golden hairstyle. Hollywood’s Glam Squad Hit The Burberry Body Party
Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey held a star-studded launch for the British fashion label’s latest fragrance, Body, in LA last night. The fashion brand's devotees were out in force and leading the pack was Burberry Body poster gal, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who wowed in a slinky champagne cocktail dress and matching heels. Cat Deeley worked a glam rock tux look, pairing her white blazer with Burberry’s must-have leather skinnies and cool buckle-up boots.
Kate Bosworth and Solange Knowles showed just how ahead of the style curve they are in printed looks from Burberry’s SS12 tribal inspired collection. We’ve already spotted Leighton Meester rocking Solange’s beaded heels – an early contender for next season’s ‘It’ shoe we reckon. Sadly, buying Burberry Body won’t give us Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s hot model bod, but it’s on the Christmas wish-list anyway! GG
