Fearne Cotton Wins Best Dressed At The NTAs 2012
It was an evening of celebrity fashion wins at The National Television Awards 2012 last night!
Fearne Cotton ditched her usual rock-chick fashion style and opted for a flapper dress by Temperley London and quilted Chanel bag. Top marks for colour coordination – we love her matchy matchy lips and high heels.
Caroline Flack also attended the event, in a clashing print playsuit by PPQ and Topshop ankle boots. Note how she’s layered her playsuit over a lilac shirt – that’s a celebrity styling trick we’ll be rocking this weekend!
Winning the award for Best Drama Performance for her role in Doctor Who, Karen Gillian worked preppy like a pro in a burgundy velvet dress, All Saints brogues and a bright green bag. Talk about going off duty – cute!
Elle MacPherson took bejeweled to a whole new level in a grey jewel encrusted maxi dress by Tom Ford – with matching bobby dazzler earrings and clutch bag, of course! Karen Gillan Wins Best Dressed At The TV Choice Awards
Not only did Doctor Who's Karen Gillan pick up the award for best actress at the TV Choice Awards 2011 in London last night, she also won the best dressed award in our eyes. Karen Gillan hit the blue carpet in a super-chic peachy shift dress, on paper the light shade shouldn’t have complimented her flame red hair, but it really did. Even though her dress was simple it still out shone the rest with all that added sparkly embellishment. We loved the way she finished off her winning look with smokey eye make-up and shiny black loafers, very Alexa Chung. FD

Karen Gillan Goes Nude At The Doctor Who Screening
Last night Karen Gillan (who plays Doctor Who's flame-haired sidekick Amy) attended the private screening of the long-awaited new Doctor Who series, wearing what we suspect is a French Connection pleated maxi dress – it’s strikingly similar to the one Petra Nemcova wore on the runway at The LOOK Show SS11. The TV star looked effortlesly cool by teaming her simple nude maxi dress with a messy hairstyle, chunky black boots and smoky eye make-up – Ms Gillan, we approve!
Expect to see a lot of Karen Gillan in the next few months – not only will she be gracing our screens in Doctor Who, but she is also set to star as ’60s model and fashion icon Jean Shrimpton in the new David Bailey film We'll Take Manhattan, which focuses on the 1962 Vogue fashion shoot where she met and fell in love with Bailey. Excited? We are! So Karen will soon be swapping checked shirts and floor-sweeping maxi dresses for micro-miniskirts, which Shrimpton is credited for bringing to the masses. Start up the time machine, as Karen Gillan is heading back to the ’60s!

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer 2011 Launches
Save your pennies and get ready to go guilt-free shopping as Fashion Targets Breast Cancer has launched its 15th annual collection today. Usually the charity sells just one t-shirt each year to raise money for breast cancer, but this year they’ve launched a whole collection, costing from £1.50 to £157, in high-street stores.
The slogan t-shirt by Topshop and a peach satchel at River Island are available to buy now with over 30% going to the charity. Other stores stocking Fashion Targets Breast Cancer items from today are Coast, Warehouse, My-wardrobe.com, Marks & Spencer, Laura Ashley and Bottlegreen.
You’ll also see the gorgeous faces of Cat Deeley, Sadie Frost and Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan popping up on posters to promote the campaign. They follow in the footsteps of Claudia Schiffer, Sienna Miller and Kylie Minogue, who have all previously fronted the campaign and helped to raise over £11 million. FTBC hope to raise £1 million in the next six weeks, so shop now and let’s help them get there.

Karen Gillan Wins Best Dressed At The TV Choice Awards
Our favourite sci-fi style icon, Karen Gillan stole the show at the TV Choice Awards in London last night looking effortlessly chic in a red lace dress complete with waist-cinching belt and black blazer. And have we mentioned how good her legs looked? The Doctor Who star, who collected the Best Family Drama award on behalf of the BBC1 show, gave the other British actresses a masterclass on laid-back red carpet glamour as she ditched the flesh-flashing dresses for a demure and sophisticated look. Other TV shows to pick up awards included Gavin And Stacey, Ashes To Ashes and Glee. Plus EastEnders star Lacey Turner picked up Best Soap Actress and Jack O’Connell was voted Best Actor. Karen Gillan has been working an array of fabulous dresses since she hit our screens and this time she didn’t disappoint on a shopping trip in Central London. The glamorous Doctor Who assistant looked suitably glam for a spot of retail therapy wearing a simple ‘60s-style shift dress complete with gold trim and Mary-Jane ballet flats. Doctor Who assistant Karen Gillan caused yet another fashion frenzy this week when she attended The Brit Week Launch Party in LA in a thigh-high metallic dress. The 22-year-old actress, who plays Doctor Who’s new companion Amy Pond, showed just why she has been named the sexiest companion ever as she flaunted her killer curves in a strapless minidress, gravity-defying tan wedges and an effortlessly sexy, tousled hairstyle. Karen worked it like a red-carpet pro and beat off stiff style competition from other Brits including Kelly Osbourne, Cat Deeley, Helen Mirren and Mel B to attract the most flashbulbs at the star-studded event.
