Marchesa – New York Fashion Week’s Glammest Front Row
Marchesa has long been the go-to label for dreamy red-carpet dresses, so we knew the front row line-up at their first fashion week show was going to be one very well-dressed affair.
Marchesa’s A-list devotees were out in force for the label's catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week yesterday, and the line-up catwalk-side looked like it could have come straight from the Oscars red carpet.
Bar Rafaeli went for a classic Marchesa look in an embellished black and sheer nude mini dress, while Selita Ebanks looked regal in a rich pink shift with jewelled puff shoulders.
Michelle Monaghan looked like she wasn’t quite ready to let summer go just yet in her Grecian-inspired lemon yellow draped dress, and Emma Roberts rocked the coolest prom frock we’ve ever seen.
Other über-glam celeb attendees included Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Szohr, Naomi Campbell and Camilla Belle – talk about a guest list. We feel sorry for anyone who turned up in jeans and flats! GG

Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr & Katie Cassidy At DKNY Bash
Gossip Girl stars Jessica Szohr and Katie Cassidy looked like best buddies as they caught up at the DKNY sunglasses party in New York yesterday. Showing that they’re nothing like the rivals they play in the show as characters Vanessa and Juliet respectively. Katie opted for a DKNY ensemble of a lip-printed blouse, grey shorts and nude heels, while Jessica wore a boho maxi with a side-swept fishtail plait. Glad to see that you’re not enemies in real life, girls – now all we need is for Gossip Girl to hit our screens again. We can’t wait! RS

Gossip Girl Axes Taylor Momsen And Jessica Szohr
It looks like Gossip Girl just got cut-throat in real life. It’s no “xoxo” for Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr, who have been told they won’t be returning to the US show for the fifth season.
The two actresses, who play Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams in our fave New York fashion drama, won’t appear on the Upper East Side any more. Rumours are rife that Taylor Momsen was cut due to erratic behaviour on set and too much time spent with her band The Pretty Reckless.
So who did make the cut for season 5? Fear not, Serena and Blair fans! Our fave fashionista BFFs are back - Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will return along with the handsome chaps: Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley. We wonder if Blake Lively will keep her new red hair? JG

Most starlets pick a cocktail frock or gown for high profile events but not Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr - and that's what we love about her! Our favourite kooky dresser never fails when it comes to a photo op and here she is again rocking the camera in quirky, stand out graphic stripes. A sporty skater dress isn't the obvious party pick but she's rocking it like a pro with pink pin-stretching peep toe heels, zingy citrus nails and glossy, twirled locks plus that uniform Stateside glow is making us green with envy too. We've been saying for a while now that the ultimate beauty look for 2010 is a perfect complexion, but there's nothing like the celeb social event of the season to make a point.
We've spent all day admiring the gowns, coveting the make-up and lusting after the hairdos from The Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala, but what's given us a serious case of the green-eyed monster is the dewy skin.
Blake Lively, Emma Watson, Gisele Bundchen and Jessica Szohr showed us just what a hint of highlighting and a dusting of body shimmer can do for a girl. Their shoulders looked flawless and we've never seen such gleaming cheekbones! So, for those of us who haven't been detoxing since the Millennium, we'll be reaching for the sparkle too – because skin is most definitely in.

Gossip Girl stars Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg made a fabulous fashion appearance at New York Fashion Week 2010 as they attended the Jill Stuart autumn/winter 2010 show looking every inch the fashionistas in a selection of flash bulb-worthy designs. Michelle Trachtenberg would bring a tear to the eye of her on-screen socialite character Georgina Sparks as she arrived in a statement jacket complete with sharp shoulders, oversized clutch bag and killer heels. Meanwhile co-star Jessica Szohr left her boho look behind (as seen on character Vanessa Abrams) and went for full-on glamour in a figure-hugging monochrome dress, red shoes and a super-sexy hairstyle. Both ladies took their prestigious seats on the front row next to AnnaLynne McCord, Mena Suvari and The City star Roxy Olin. SD
