Alexa Chung Hits Chanel’s Las Vegas Fashion Bash
Oh what we’d give to bag an invitation to a Chanel soiree. For their latest celebration – the launch of the Numeros Prives exhibition in Las Vegas – the fashion house flew out the style set by private jet for a weekend of fashion fun. The opening night party was awash with Chanel favourites including Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger, Lily Collins and Jessica Alba. All were dressed in head-to-toe Chanel and adorned with Chanel fine jewellery, but each lady went for very different looks.
Alexa Chung, who took to the decks to entertain the crowd, swapped tomboy for cutesy in a pastel blue boucle mini dress and a crystal clutch, while Jessica Alba. opted for classic Chanel monochrome chic in a two tone midi dress. Daring fashionista Diane Kruger went futuristic in a high-necked sequin dress, and Lily Collins took Chanel into boho territory with a floaty maxi dress, loose waves and piled on chains.
With Karl Lagerfeld back in Paris working on Tuesday’s couture show, it was up to the Chanel ambassadors to party for him, and Poppy Delevigne, Rachel Zoe, Caroline Seiber and Leigh Lezark danced the night away to Alexa’s tunes and a set from Imelda May. Jessica Alba Nails Off-Duty Fashion
We have a major, major crush on Jessica Alba this morning, her off-duty wardrobe while in New York yesterday could not have been any more perfect if she'd tried. We literally want everything.
First up, Jessica mixed the sports luxe fashion trend with Marc Jacobs shoes and digi florals, care of those beyond amazing Erdem trousers, all thrown together with an Acne jumper and green ombre coat. We might not be able to afford the real deal with her trousers, but high street fashion favourite New Look have a pretty perfect pair at a bargainous £29.99 due to hit fashion stores soon. Next up, Jessica mixed mannish tailoring with a pretty twist, we want that coat with the sequin shoulders and the floral blouse with contrast collar. Oh Miss Alba, what we wouldn't give for a raid of your wardrobe right now. RS

Celebrity Fashion Trend Of The Day: Little Black Dresses
Keira Knightley, Rooney Mara, Jessica Alba and Felicity Jones have been rocking the never-ending celebrity fashion trend – the little black dress.
Keira Knightley showed some front In New York at The National Board Of Review Awards Gala 2012 looking racy in a lace dress by Nina Ricci and chunky Roger Vivier sandals teamed with a Chanel handbag – beautiful!
Rooney Mara and Felicity Jones were also at the same event. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star worked understated chic at its best in a simple Miu Miu black dress and Yves Saint Laurent heels. Meanwhile, Felicity Jones oozed sex appeal in a sheer little black dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The red lips finished her look off perfectly!
Over in LA, Jessica Alba was the right side of sexy in a seriously hot PVC dress by Valentino. The sheer panel on her little black dress left a lot to the imagination and the figure-flattering length showed off her post-baby figure to perfection. Ms Alba, we salute you!
So, if you thought dusting off your LBD for Friday night was a boring option, think again. Black is back and bigger than ever! SD

We’ve already gushed over Jessica Alba’s fashion fabulous winter white look from last night, and while we all may have to make do with swooning over that Carolina Herrera frock from afar, her knockout necklace can be yours! The actress adorned her dress with Swarovski Crystallized’s Winter Garden Pendant Necklace, an opulent, baroque-style trinket that makes us think of snow-dusted winter wonderlands. It’ll work wonders at amping up all your party outfits, and the oversized crystal flower is detachable, so it’s pretty much a two-for-one buy. That’s another thing to add to the Christmas list, then! Jessica Alba and Jennifer Hudson both looked amazing as they turned on the lights at the Swarovski Elements and Rodeo Drive holiday lighting ceremony in LA last night. Jessica Alba wore a beautiful Carolina Herrera Resort 2012 dress complete with black belt, snakeskin shoes and Swarovski jewellery, of course! Meanwhile, Jennifer Hudson rocked a red dress with a crisp white coat – we have serious cover-up envy! They’ll be no drinking mulled wine in those outfits, girls! RS

Lea Michele And Jennifer Lopez Sparkle At The Glamour Awards
If last night’s red-carpet looks from Lea Michele and Jennifer Lopez are anything to go by, we reckon champagne is set to be the ‘It’ dress colour this party season. The starlets shimmered on the red carpet at last night’s Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in New York wearing strikingly similar frocks. Lea worked a vintage look in a jewelled Jenny Packham dress, glossy waves and a deep red lip, while Jennifer went for her signature high-octane glam in a slashed to the thigh Versace floor-sweeper complete with a corsage that would give Carrie Bradshaw a run for her money. The sparkle didn’t stop at the hot frock either – check out those bling-tastic Jimmy Choo peep-toe platforms. Camilla Belle And Jessica Alba Go Glam In Ralph Lauren
The A-List flocked to the Lincoln Centre in New York last night to honour Ralph Lauren in a lavish gala hosted by chat show queen Oprah Winfrey. The star-studded affair saw Camilla Belle and Jessica Alba pull out all the stops – they both looked jaw-droppingly amazing in their Ralph Lauren dresses. Camilla Belle wore a sequinned black dress with a ruffled hem, which she paired with slick hair and berry lips. And Jessica Alba opted for a strapless crushed-velvet dress with a red jewelled top half and matching hints of red on her clutch and nails. Bryce Dallas Howard's Maternity Fashion Masterclass
Bryce Dallas Howard is another celeb who has got maternity dressing down to a fine art. Hot on the heels of Jessica Alba (who, quite frankly, has one of the best-dressed bumps around), Bryce took on the colour-blocking trend at the premiere of The Help in a gorgeous maxi dress. This trend works wonders for pregnancy dressing – keep the colour paler on your top half with a darker or brighter hue on your bottom half. Bryce’s nifty trick of adding a colour-block ribbon just under her bust shows off the smallest part of her body, and the full skirt skims over her bump. There’s not an elasticated waistband in sight!
