Jessica Alba Hits The Chanel Haute Couture 2010/11 Show
Jessica Alba couldn’t contain her excitement at the Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2010/11 show in Paris as she took her prestigious seat on the front row with celebrities including Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Anna Wintour and Milla Jovovich to watch one of the most amazing fashion we've seen for a while. The star acted like any other over-enthusiastic Chanel fan as she took snaps throughout the show, including pictures of her friends and her favourite catwalk pieces – we wonder if she’ll be showcasing her favourites on the red rug soon? The Haute Couture Shows Begin!
The A-list have been out in fashion force on the front row at the a/w haute couture shows in Paris. But while Jessica Alba looked like a summery breath of fresh air and Amber Le Bon gave her mum a run for her money in the beauty stakes, all focus has been on the jaw-dropping runway displays.
John Galliano's Christian Dior show yesterday reminded us why haute couture still exists, with a breathtaking garden-inspired display that included stunning full-skirted petal-like ballgowns that almost looked like they were made of exotic, rare lilies. Seriously, if we had a spare £100,000, we might be tempted.
Over at Armani Privé, a more sombre display (well, in comparison) of slightly ‘70s-inspired super-sophisticated silhouettes with knee-length, flares and amber tones featuring strongly – all in the most luxe fabrics known to man (strictly a polyester-free zone!). Later today will see Givenchy and Chanel – we can't wait to see what Karl will come up with this time (oh, and who will be there). ZA

We bet Jessica Alba’s glad she wore a flowing Chloé maxi dress last night after co-star Kate Hudson had a Marilyn Monroe moment at the premiere for their new film The Killer Inside Me at the Tribeca Film Festival 2010. Kate’s Louis Vuitton LBD blew up with a sudden gust of wind - luckily Jessica was on hand to avoid any embarrassing pap pics, though it did make for some comedy red carpet posing! - GG

The Valentine’s Day star looked effortlessly chic as she made some last-minute preparations in LA today before the Tribeca Film Festival kicks off tomorrow, where she’s acting as one of the jurors. Jessica Alba Defies the Beauty Rules
It's probably true to say that when you look like Jessica Alba, you can pretty much wear whatever takes your fancy. But now she's proved she can do the same with her make-up too. We've always strictly obeyed the ‘focus on your eyes or your lips’ make-up rule, but now she's gone and sported both at the same time – and managed to carry it off.
Her smouldering smoky eye was completed with a hint of shimmering gold in the inner corners of her eyes (beauty experts tell us that's how to make your eyes look brighter and more awake), and she finished off the look with a slick of juicy redcurrant lipstick. We think she looks super-sophisticated and hey, who doesn't love a rule breaker? JH

Does Jessica Alba plan on taking the whole of Proenza Schouler’s spring/summer 2010 collection for a red carpet spin? After wearing their green feathered peacock mini dress earlier this month, the actress chose another look from the killer collection of tropical bright abstract animal skins and dip-dye fabrics at last night’s Tribeca Film Celebration 2010 in LA. Though we’d kill for her high-shine shift, it’s Proenza’s strappy, sculptural wedge shoes that have had the fashion team in a tizz. And don’t think we didn’t notice that hot blue nail shade either.
