Hairstyle How-To Video: DIY Dip-Dye Hair!
This week’s Friday Night Hair was insipired by the fashion fabulous Jaime King and her bright blue dip-dyed hairstyle – the one trend celebs can’t get enough of. So Katie Chan, LOOK’s Deputy Beauty Editor, thought she’d show you just how easy it is to do at home. There are tons of amazing at-home dyes to try, but our favourite is Kevin Murphy’s Color.Bug Hair Shadow, £12.95, It come in three colours – orange, purple and pink – and washes out just as easily as it rubs on. So this weekend get experimental and try colour-dipping your ends. Will you go pink like Stephanie Pratt, red like Kylie Jenner or blue like Kate Bosworth and Jaime King? You decide! SF

Hairstyle How-To Video: A Fishtail Plait Updo
Good morning ladies and welcome to another Friday Night Hair video. To start off London Fashion Week we’ve got just the do to last you morning till night without worrying about a strand falling out of place. This week Katie Chan, LOOK’s Deputy Beauty Editor, is creating a simple fishtail braid at the front and rolling it back into a French roll. With Dianna Agron, Paris Hilton, Charlize Theron and Jaime King all sporting the style recently on the red carpet we knew it would be a look you’d love. Blake Lively And Chloë Moretz Turn Out For Target
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – exactly when is Target going to open on our side of the pond? The US bargain store launched yet another designer collaboration yesterday, this time with catwalk whiz-kid and Michelle Obama dresser Jason Wu. As always the celebrities couldn’t keep away, with Blake Lively, Chloë Moretz, Emmy Rossum and Jaime King amongst the attendees.
Hick co-stars Blake Lively, and Chloë Moretz co-ordinated their wardrobes in matching monochrome looks – Blake in a flirty peplum dress and Chloe in a boy-meets-girl tuxedo ensemble. Jaime King brightened up the night with a bold red top double up and kitsch floral ski skirt, and Emmy Rossum ticked off the pastel trend early in a pretty pink blouse. With catwalk fashion collections showcasing everything from ballgowns to sports luxe separates and a celebrity clientele ranging from Diane Kruger to Michelle Williams, fashion fans Stateside are in for a treat. The plus side? No getting caught in that launch day shopping scrum. Yeah, who are we kidding? GG

Mulberry’s Celeb-Packed LA Pool Party
Warning: this story might make you seriously green with envy! Pro party throwers Mulberry held what looked like the most fun fashion bash ever at the infamous Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Jaime King, in a Mulberry ‘Scout’ shirt, denim skirt and those Miu Miu glitter shoes and Cat Deeley in a Mulberry biker jacket, joined Kate Bosworth, Louise Roe and Mulberry Creative Director Emma Hill for fun and frolics beside the pool.
The A-list crowd partied amongst super-sized ice creams and a menagerie of animal balloons – a reference to Mulberry’s key SS12 print – and were treated to a performance from lady of the moment Lana Del Rey before sitting down to a dinner of crab cakes, salmon and lemon tart for afters. So far, so amazing, but to top it all off, guests left clutching one killer goody bag, piled high with Mulberry treats including a ‘Bonkers Beach’ print bikini, jelly sandals, a sweatshirt and satchel. OK, we officially need to become famous! Wonder how many celebs woke up with an inflatable alligator in their bedroom this morning? GG

Wardrobe Round-Up: GQ Men Of The Year Party
It was more like a Women Of The Year party for GQ, as Hollywood’s leading ladies ruled the red carpet in some gorgeous designer dresses last night. Jaime King, Kerry Washington, Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly were among the A-list ladies partying with the likes of Jay-Z, Ewan McGregor and True Blood hottie Ryan Kwanten in LA. Jaime King and Jessica Biel led the LBD pack in amped-up black frocks – Jaime went for a prom-style sheer and sparkly number while Jessica dazzled in an embellished shoulder pencil dress, accessorised with the lovely Justin Timberlake. Over in the colour corner were Kerry Washington and Minka Kelly. Kerry gave the staple sequin dress a new-season update with tiered colour blocks and Minka looked futuristic in her printed mini. With Emma Roberts wowing in a red curve-clinger and Zooey Deschanel looking kooky as ever in baroque gold brocade, last night really was all about the girls. Sorry gentlemen, suits just aren’t that exciting! GG

Cat Deeley And Jaime King Wow At The Veuve Clicquout Polo
Cat Deeley and Jaime King gave us a whopping case of wardrobe envy this weekend as they hit the Veuve Clicquout Polo Classic 2011 in LA. While we were digging out our winter coats and wrapping up against the autumn chill, the Hollywood style set enjoyed a never-ending summer. Cat Deeley looked ready for cocktails by the beach in her cutout detail maxi dress, aviators and hippy bangle pile up, while Jaime King also rocked a neutral dress - though the sequins on her Jason Wu frock and fierce heels upped the glam ante. Other A-listers enjoying the sunshine and champagne included Ali Larter, who looked super cute in a navy playsuit, Camilla Belle and a back-in-the-spotlight Lauren Conrad. Celeb Fashion Update: Last Night’s Best Dressed Bash
Here’s a little something to brighten up this miserable Thursday – last night’s red carpet fashion fest! It was a seasonal fash-off at the CBS, The CW and Showtime party in LA as spring/summer '11 and autumn/winter '11 fashion trends went head to head.
Emmy Rossum and Claire Danes continued summer’s colour blocking craze, Emmy in a stunning rust and turquoise dress, paired with co-ordinating heels and clutch, while Clare went for a subtler take on the trend in a nude and red draped dress. Rachel Bilson also went super-bright, working a very cool print clash of floral shirt and leopard shoes paired with an amazing pair of textured red trousers.
But it wasn’t all popping shades, Kristen Bell and Jaime King embraced AW/11 early with sultry black boudoir looks – nailing the festish trend seen at Louis Vuitton and Versus. Well, the weather’s so temperamental right now, we’re happy to take trend inspiration for both seasons! GG

Nicky Hilton And Jaime King Step Out In The Same Dress
Dress, check! Towering heels, check! Blonde hair, check! Jaime King and Nicky Hilton could be fashion twins. Despite rocking the same leopard-print dress as they arrived at the UK Style by French Connection launch party in LA on Wednesday night, we love how Nicky Hilton and Jaime King added their own personal style to the look. Nicky went glam with a wide belt, red lips and nails and Christian Louboutin heels (and a Californian tan) while Jaime kept the look low-key with a messy updo hairstyle and YSL heels. We can’t work out which look we like best, but one thing’s for sure – we’ll be calling our friends tonight to plan our Friday night frocks! HE
