Meet Mad Men’s Mini Fashionista, Kiernan Shipka
Kiernan Shipka, aka Don and Betty Draper’s daughter Sally in cult TV show Mad Men, is the latest star to join the fashion brat pack. The show's cast are doing the red-carpet promo rounds before the new series hits screens soon, and 12-year-old Kiernan is fast proving her fashion credentials by stepping out in not one, but two designer dresses this week.
First up was a floral-printed Oscar de la Renta frock for the LA premiere. Kiernan then took a tip from fellow tween starlet Hailee Steinfeld and donned a pretty Miu Miu creation the following night. Could we be looking at the successor to Ms Steinfeld’s coveted Miu Miu poster girl crown? Watch this space! GG

The Celebs Dress Up For Dinner With Chanel
While most of us made do with a microwave meal in front of the telly last night, the A-list donned their glad rags to dine in style with designer fashion brand Chanel. Kate Bosworth, Cat Deeley, Hailee Steinfeld and Chanel ambassador Poppy Delevingne joined fellow celebs Christina Hendricks, Lily Collins and Elle Fanning at the LA event.
Kate Bosworth worked the ultimate Chanel combo of a chain-trim blouse and boucle skirt, while Poppy showed off another signature look in a tweed mini dress – both accessorised with classic quilted Chanel arm candy, natch. Teen starlet Hailee Steinfeld gave the veteran stylistas a run for their money with her offbeat dress and toe cap boots, and ever-glam Cat Deeley shimmered in a lurex boho dress and matching metallic heels with a perfectly tousled golden hairstyle. Well, you’ve got to make an effort for Chanel, haven’t you? GG

Hailee Steinfeld And Chloë Moretz Rock The Red Carpet
Hailee Steinfeld and Chloë Moretz hit the red carpet this weekend to attend the Power Of Youth 2011.
Chloë Moretz was honoured for her work on behalf of The Film Fund and was dressed head-to-toe in mismatched Kenzo. Amazing, without looking like she tried too hard – we love it. Hailee Steinfeld ensured she kept a tight grip of that new style icon crown in a Chanel bouclé jacket, Jil Sander top and J Brand shorts. How is it possible to be that cool at 14? We’re totally jels. The actress was given an award for her charity work to No Kid Hungry, an organisation which pledges to solve child hunger. Beyond cool AND saving the planet – she’s a style superhero! KA

Hailee Steinfeld Rocks A Racer-Front Dress
We hate to say we told you so, but we did say the racer-front dress was the style to be seen in and it appears Hailee Steinfeld has taken note! Wearing a Versace resort 2012 black and white number to the Young Hollywood Party, Hailee teamed her racer number with a neon yellow clutch and pointy stilettos, which pepped up the monochrome dress. We just can’t get enough of Miss Steinfeld, and even though we’re not totally sold on her shoes we love the rest of this look – including her fresh-faced make-up and messy pony. Perfect! RS

Hailee Steinfeld Leads The A-List At Miu Miu's Glam Party
Last night, the most elite members of the style set glammed up for a Miu Miu bash in Beverly Hills. The designer label's poster girl Hailee Steinfeld was of course in attendance, looking as cute as a button in a blush-pink shift dress with an embellished Peter Pan collar and matching accessories. With Miss Steinfeld's style credentials already firmly cemented at just 14 years old, something tells us we’ve got a lot of knockout outfits to look forward to.
Fellow fashion power player Diane Kruger joined in the fun in an elegant LBD jazzed up with delicately embroidered sleeves. And Emma Roberts and Cat Deeley brought the glitz in their metallic minis – Cat in a thigh-skimmer dripping with beads, and Emma in a gold leather Miu Miu AW11 frock. Miss Roberts almost fooled us into thinking she’d had the chop, until we saw her wavy locks were just pinned back. Ah, just another dazzling night in fashion land, then. Not that we’re jealous or anything! GG

Hailee Steinfeld Models For Miu Miu!
Marchesa, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Prada – could we be any more jealous of Hailee Steinfeld’s designer-clad wardrobe?
Looks like the answer is yes - the True Grit star has just been announced as the new Miu Miu muse. Shot by legendary fashion photographer Bruce Weber, Hailee appears in the Autumn/Winter 2011 advertising campaign, wearing playful prints, glitter heels and '40s-style tailoring. “I had such an amazing experience working with the Miu Miu team on this new campaign,” said Hailee. “It's so much fun to have the chance to work with such a gifted designer and wear these incredible clothes. I feel so lucky to be a part of it.” Can’t say we blame you, Hailee! This girl is going stellar! HE

Hailee Steinfeld Named As The New Face Of Miu Miu!
Not that we needed further proof, but Hailee Steinfeld’s style icon status has been firmly cemented today after bagging the role of Miu Miu’s new poster girl. The red carpet’s most fashionable 14-year-old fuelled rumours of a potential hook-up after making a special guest appearance at the label’s Milan fashion week show in March. Hailee's stylist Kara Welch said of the collaboration: “Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season they were the dresses she wanted to wear.”
Hailee has been making major waves on the red carpet, holding her own against Hollywood heavyweights in age-appropriate but always fashion forward outfits from Marchesa, Stella McCartney and of course, numerous Miu Miu looks. Her first foray into fashion sees her joining the Miu Miu ranks alongside previous faces Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan and Maggie Gyllenhaal. She may be the baby of the bunch, but if her recent style choices are anything to go by, we’d say she’s definitely got the fashion credentials to back it up. GG

The Met Ball 2011: It’s All About The Brits
It’s certainly all about London designers at the moment and the red carpet was buzzing with them at the Costume Institute Gala Met Ball 2011.
Whether it was because this year's Met Ball was dedicated to the late Alexander McQueen or because Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge, stepped out of her car in Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen on Friday or just because our Brit designers are just so brilliant – either way, the fashion houses of London were represented all over the red carpet! Aww, we're so proud to be British right now!
The most spotted by far were Stella McCartney's dresses (and jumpsuit worn by Iman). The designer's chums Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow were sporting her dresses, with Madge in an amazing silk turquoise gown with embellished stars. Stella also dressed Rihanna, Hailee Steinfeld, Eva Mendes, Naomi Watts and pregnant Kate Hudson, who looked radiant in a cream gown.
Also flying the flag for Britain, was Alexa Chung in one of Christopher Kane’s next season's dresses and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a satin Burberry number. That's not forgetting the designer of the week, McQueen's protégé, Sarah Burton, who wore one of her gowns and dressed Daphne Guinness and Naomi Campbell in head-to-toe feather dresses. Amazing!

Hailee Steinfeld Looks Picture Perfect In Miu Miu
Do we sense a new muse for celeb fave design label Miu Miu? Wearing top-to-toe Miu Miu, True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld was a special guest of Miuccia Prada at the Miu Miu AW11 show at Paris Fashion Week 2011 last night. We’ve got serious accessory envy over her leopard-print clutch bag and multi-strap shoes – if her accessory wardrobe looks this good at age 14, we can only dream of what it will look like in years to come. Oscars 2011: The Best Dressed
Last night in LA, the awards ceremony we’ve all been waiting for took place, and the red carpet was awash with Hollywood’s finest wearing amazing gowns at the Oscars 2011. Natalie Portman went straight to her favourite label – and creators of the Black Swan’s costumes – Rodarte, for the divine purple dress she wore to pick up the Best Actress gong. Host Anne Hathaway started the night in a scarlet, bustle-back Valentino dress before a whopping seven costume changes throughout the event, including a fringed Oscar de la Renta frock and a Lanvin tux. The lucky lady even had Valentino himself on hand during her red-carpet walk, perhaps to prevent any possible wardrobe malfunctions! Teen style sensation Hailee Steinfeld looked like a princess in a tulle ballgown she co-designed with Marchesa for the occasion, and worked the red carpet like a pro – you’d never know it was her first Oscar appearance. Last but not least, queen of red-carpet high fashion Cate Blanchett combined elegance and edge with a lilac embellished Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci creation. Mila Kunis and Scarlett Johansson continued the purple trend, Scarlett in lace Dolce & Gabbana and Mila in plunging Elie Saab Couture. Our other favourites? Sandra Bullock in red Vera Wang and Michelle Williams in shimmering Chanel.
