We watched Tulisa Contostavlos fight it out with Kelly Rowland last year, but 2012 welcomes new X Factor fashion competition in the shape of former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.

As they hit Liverpool for the first day of the X Factor auditions, Tulisa and Geri both upped the anti in tiny mini-dresses, Tulisa opting for a bright graphic print puffball dress and Geri showing off her tiny figure in a flash of bright blue.

They were joined by Caroline Flack, and our favourite X Factor boys Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Olly Murs, for what will be a month of UK auditions before it lands on our screens later this year.

Ok, so we know it's supposed to be about the music, but we can't help our obsession with the ongoing fashion battle! HG

Geri Halliwell struck a model pose at the Old Billingsgate Market in London to show off her new red carpet dress collection for high-street fashion favourite Next. Yes ladies, the Spice Girls star has added another string to her fashion bow by turning her attention away from swimwear to design dresses (just like bandmate Victoria Beckham) for her latest high-street fashion collection called Geri by Next.

Geri Halliwell showed off her deep tan and amazing figure in one of her high-street fashion designs wearing a simple navy satin dress complete with statement earrings, long blonde hair extensions and smoky eye make-up. If you want to get your hands on one of the six designs then you have a bit of a wait as the Geri by Next dress collection will be hitting high-street stores in October 2011. Prices start at £89 and it is available in sizes 6 to 22 - add a reminder to your diaries now! SD

Geri Halliwell organises Spice Girls outing16 September 2009

Geri Halliwell and the rest of the Spice Girls got glammed up for a reunion out in London last night.

Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice invited the rest of the Spice Girls out for dinner at Palm restaurant in London. Busy with her DVB catwalk show in New York Victoria Beckham was the only Spice Girl who couldn't make it. Emma Bunton opted for a chic outfit of leather jacket and tailored trousers, accessorised with gold jewellery while Scary Spice Melanie Brown went for a classic white shirt and blue leather mini. Geri Halliwell also sported a leather jacket, with a sheer layered skirt and lacy camisole. Melanie Chisolm went for a simple LBD worn with a grey boyfriend blazer and a red leopard print scarf to add interest, love the fringe!

Wowza, is it us or is the ex-Spice Girl looking amazing

We never quite know what to expect when Geri Halliwell peels of the kaftanto reveal her latest beach bod. The ex Spice Girls gone from ample curves to wiry yoga-bunny and back again more times than we can remember! This time, on hols in Sardinia with new beau Henry Beckwith Geri appears to have found just the right balance. With healthy curves and a toned tum, Geri sported a skimpy white bikini that unfortunately struggled to contain her buxom chest! Ill-fitting swimwear aside, Geri looked amazing and after Poshs stint in her undies for Armani and Mel Bs star turn in a burlesque show stateside, its just Emma Bunton and Mel C whove yet to get their kit off in public!
