Freida Pinto Does Offbeat Cool At Cannes
A crop top at Cannes? Oui! If you’re Freida Pinto that is. The actress continued her fashion forward outfit parade at the ‘Desert Dancer’ photocall today, posing for the cameras in summer’s hottest trend – a two-piece set. Cannes is notorious for glamour, so Freida kept it chic by balancing out the tum exposure with a demure 50’s flared skirt. Extra fashion points to Ms Pinto for nodding to Cannes Riviera chic with the nautical colour scheme too. Watch out Diane Kruger, you’ve got a serious challenger to your Cannes fashion crown. GG

Alice Eve Is Pretty In Prada
Prada’s 50s Americana-inspired SS12 collection is getting some serious A-list love, with everyone from Freida Pinto to Kate Bosworth and Dakota Fanning stepping out in the designs, and now Brit girl Alice Eve is getting in on the action.
Alice ticked off spring's pastel craze nicely in a head-to-toe look from the Italian label at ‘The Raven’ premiere in New York last night, opting for a powder blue dip hem dress and matching jewel-toe ‘Taillight’ wedges. The English rose completed her look with a fifties-esque bouffant updo and dewy make-up. Miuccia Prada would approve, we’re sure! GG

Freida Pinto Looks Pastel Pretty In Prada
Freida Pinto secured herself as our latest style crush as she attended Nylon magazine's 13th anniversary celebration in LA last night. The gorgeous actress, who we can't wait to see in her new film Trishna, teamed Prada’s iconic car-print dress with chic side-swept hair. Someone paid attention at the Salvatore Ferragamo show! Grease-inspired car prints are the ‘It’ print of the season, and you don’t even need a celeb bank balance to afford them – high-street brands including Asos, New Look, Next and Primark have all picked up on the trend, too. Dakota Fanning, Rose Byrne And Freida Pinto Hit New York
Dakota Fanning and Rose Byrne both opted for cool icy blue shades as they hit the red carpet for a magazine event at the Mandarin Oriental Ballroom in New York last night. Dakota Fanning looked super-cute in her Spring 2012 Miu Miu silvery blue dress, as she posed with Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne who had also chosen to wear a similar shade. Rose looked chic in a Chanel white shift dress with a pale blue waterfall ruffle and, like Dakota, had chosen to team her dress with leg-lengthening patent nude shoes. Frieda Pinto was also at the Mandarin Oriental and turned up to the awards in a navy and bright blue dress, which she wore with a minimal pure white coat - no drinking red wine in that one, Frieda! Loving Freida Pinto’s Popping Dress Swap
Freida Pinto put our summer dressing to shame yesterday with not one, but two knockout looks in one day. While we’re struggling to master one weather-appropriate look every morning – thanks, great British Summer - Freida look cool as a (very stylish) cucumber in the scorching New York heat. The actress arrived for an appearance on The Daily Show in a jewel purple satin and jersey dress, before leaving in a another bright number, this time a juicy lime halter-neck and Nicholas Kirkwood strappies. Two outfit changes and still not a glossy lock out of place despite the humidity – we need this girl’s smoothing secret! Freida, we salute your effortless summer chic. GG

Ashley Greene And Eva Mendes Wow At Ferragamo Show
It was glamour and sophistication all the way at Salvatore Ferragamo’s 2012 Resort Collection fashion show last night in New York, with a whole host of seriously stylish A-listers attending the event.
Twilight actress Ashley Greene wowed in a Grecian-inspired white midi dress, jazzed up with a houndstooth clutch and fierce red heels. Meanwhile, Eva Mendes oozed grown-up glamour in a colour-block halterneck frock (it’s like her body was made for those ’50s styles!) paired with understated gold heels.
Freida Pinto and Emma Roberts looked equally as gorgeous, with Freida rocking a silk abstract-print top tucked into a sleek white pencil skirt and Ms Roberts showcasing her Bambi-esqe pins in a purple velvet mini.
With the glamour girls out in full force, we reckon it’s definitely time to start channelling our inner Audrey Hepburn!

Gwen Stefani: Leader Of The AmfAR Fashion Pack
When you’ve got red carpet competition from the likes of Bar Rafaeli, Freida Pinto and Clemence Poesy, you know you’ve got to up the ante, and Gwen Stefani did so to epic proportions at last night’s AmfAR Gala at Cannes Film Festival 2011. Oozing attitude (not easy to do in a fishtail, so kudos, Ms Stefani) in a knockout gown from her L.A.M.B collection, Gwen put her own edgy stamp on the big hair trend, with a modern slicked back bouffant. Cheryl Cole and co, this is how it's done.
While Stefani took last night’s Cannes style queen crown, the other attendees put up a good fashion fight with Freida in metallic Lanvin, and Karl Lagerfeld's girls Clemence and Kirsten Dunst in Chanel Couture. We'll be suffering from red carpet withdrawals once Cannes is over!

Freida Pinto celebrated her 26th birthday on the red carpet last night at the premiere of her new film Miral. Rocking a stunning Alexander McQueen black and gold embellished dress from the 2011 resort collection, the gorgeous actress accessorised with one of the late designer’s signature clutches and A-list fave angel- wing peep-toes. Freida Pinto's Knockout Red Carpet Look
She may have been M.I.A from the red carpet rounds for a while, but Freida Pinto certainly hasn’t let her A-list style credentials slip. The Slumdog star ensured it was all pap flashbulbs on her at The Last Airbender premiere in New York thanks to her popping Oscar De La Renta cocktail dress, masterfully accessorised with glittering gold jewels - though we suspect snuggling up to beau Dev Patel (who was wearing Dolce & Gabbana btw) helped too. With three new films in the pipeline, we’ll be eagerly anticipating more Freida fashion moments. GG
