Heritage was a huge fashion trend on the AW11 catwalks, with everyone from Burberry and Ashish embracing tweed coats and autumnal colour palettes, and it looks like the A-list want in on the action too! Jade Williams (aka Sunday Girl) was spotted with pal Zara Martin at the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury race course rocking an oversized Mulberry bag and a burgundy blazer, while supermodel Erin O’Connor embraced countryside chic in a tweed suit and flat cap at the Ralph Lauren Rugby Tweed Run in London at the weekend. Get the look on the high street with this cute, knitted tweed swing dress from Warehouse (was £55, now £35) and this military-style belted coat from Topshop, £89. Here at LOOK HQ, we love it when charity and fashion come together, so we’ll definitely be getting involved in Save The Children’s ‘Bag To Save A Life’ appeal tomorrow. Supported by supermodel Erin O'Connor, the charity has teamed up with celebs including Samatha Cameron, Sienna Miller and Florence Welch to host a designer bag auction on Friday 25 November. Samantha Cameron donated a Jimmy Choo, Sienna Miller gave a Miu Miu bag and Gemma Arterton handed over a patent Prada number.

And if that wasn’t enough to give you the bidding bug, there are also bags from Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Georgia May Jagger and designers including Christian Louboutin, Moschino and Jason Wu. The best bit is that the starting prices will be set at a quarter of the original value, so you really could bag (excuse the pun) a bargain while raising money to help Save The Children deliver life-saving healthcare to some of the world’s poorest countries. The auction goes live tomorrow and runs until Sunday 4 December, but don’t worry if you end up being outbid, you can still do your bit by donating any unwanted bags – come on, we know you’ve got at least one – to any Save The Children store in the UK. How sweet are these? LOOK’s favourite supermodel Erin O’Connor has teamed up with her stylist friend Kate Halfpenny to create ‘She Died Of Beauty’, a simple but super-stylish collection of five slogan tees and two bags. First to step out onto the LOOK spring/summer 2010 catwalk.... none other than Erin O’Connor. And wow what an entrance! With her slicked back hair and scarlet lips Erin was every inch the supermodel as she rocked the runway in Reiss, giving cheeky winks and peace signs.   Whoever said that all supermodels are divas Erin proved them wrong. Backstage she chatted with the LOOK fashion team, shared her champagne with us and even confided that her boyfriend was in the audience waiting to see her appear on the catwalk for the first time. How sweet!  

Erin’s favourite piece from the show was the River Island red military jacket, which she modelled herself – she said she was planning on snapping one up asap. A supermodel loving the high street? She’s a girl after our own heart! KA

Snapped kissing her lip Lulu bag, Erin O’Connor was in the mood for love at the Lulu Guinness new London shop on Monday night. We’ve got a bit of a style crush on supermodel Erin at the moment, having just shot her for the 2 March issue. She’ll also be walking the runway at The LOOK Show on 20 February – we can’t wait!

Erin O’Connor, the stunning Brit supermodel, has walked the runways for every designer worth knowing, from Chanel and Givenchy, to Dior and Gucci. Now, in a fashion magazine first, she will take to the catwalk for LOOK’s first-ever show spring/summer 2010 at London Fashion Week, modelling your favourite high street brands.
